"The beach view was wonderful even though partially blocked by some buildings on the beach. I loved sleeping with the door open to hear the sounds of the ocean! The hotel room was beautiful and the bathroom was fabulous and luxurious. The Continental Breakfast served to the room was a wonderful treat! Cookies in the lobby were a nice touch. "The location itself is beautiful, it’s close to town and 12 minutes to Monterey. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They have coffee in the office and a food truck in the mornings. I was not able to enjoy the food truck because my schedule was packed but I am definitely looking forward to return here. I felt safe and well taken care of"

"This place was the perfect location for our visit to Monterey Aquarium and Cannery Row. Free parking and free breakfast was wonderful, it’s hard to find good hotels that offer both. When I checked in I was tired and having a stressful day but the staff was kind, professional and helped turn the day around for us. The rooms were clean, the free breakfast was good and it was in walking distance or a short drive to everything we were boating. We will definitely return next visit to Monterey."

"This is a convenient hotel for families. The hotel was clean and we liked the included breakfast in the morning. I would just say that the staff could be a little more friendly and welcoming. Otherwise, the restaurant staff and breakfast staff were very nice. Also, we would have liked for our bedroom suite to have items for the kitchenette ( paper-towel, dishsoap, etc) or at least complementary bottles of water. Overall our staff was ok."

"Check in and check out with the owners were not the friendliest. The area was safe enough. The room itself was clean and updated but very small and cramped. Air conditioner worked fine as did the fridge and microwave. The TV worked only one of the two days we were there. Parking can be limited. Area is walkable. Shower temperature was good but the pressure was low. Wooden blinds over the window looked nice, but let a lot of light in. Less than 10 minutes to Monterey. No breakfast. Mostly...

"Breakfast food always out ; refills not fast enough @ 8am and not a lot of guest. Hotel's showing age in carpet ,bathroom wall & grout. Overall stay is ok. I stayed in this place many times & did not know that they are now pet friendly - I have a child who is allergic to pet dander."

"The property is well maintained, and is located just off route 101. There is a gas station and restaurant close to the property, and shopping nearby. This is a great motel/hotel if you are travelling through the area. The room was very clean, and the king size bed was quite comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"Clean and new room. Had towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Love their scent! Everything was great. The only loud noise that woke us up was the sound of ambulance or police sirens that passed by. The AC makes a bit of a noise but it was like a white noise machine which actually helped drown the noise outside since we're near a main road."
