"The condition of the room was very disappointing and unacceptable. We specifically booked a non-smoking room, but it clearly smelled like cigarette smoke. There was even a plastic bag covering the smoke detector and a cigarette butt left on the carpet, which was both concerning and unsanitary.

"Overall the hotel was clean, safe, and provided a good stay. My only negative was that there was a weird person constantly in the lobby area throughout my entire stay, which put me off using the amenities in there when needed. They didn’t seem like a guest but maybe staff on break? Not sure, but they were there every time over multiple days and made it very uncomfortable"

"Really sneaky hotel. Staff at the front desk did not mention how much the parking was until after the deposit was paid, as a result they will lock you into it before disclosing what is collected within the deposit. Overall not straightforward at all and just shady business tactics. Property is old and not up to current day standards. The bathroom tub in our room had cracks snd shower curtains were messy. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the convenient early and late opening hours. However, my son was bitten multiple times on his arms, back, and legs by a large insect or mosquito. Despite moving our room, the damage was already done. They requested that I send pictures to the manager, but I never received a response. "Horrible experience. I booked one night & was asked to pay a $200 deposit that would be released upon check out the next day. Well the next day we decided we wanted to extend our stay, but the staff claimed that they had already released the $200 deposit to my account (before I had even formally checked out, which makes no sense).
So they told me in order to extend my stay another night, they wanted another $200 deposit paid.
Now in a Canadian $, they have $580 of my money on hold that we cannot...

"the ceiling fan switch is broken and can’t turn off, and it’s noisy spinning
the restaurant downstairs is noisy at 4am maybe staffs are preparing or whatever reason. and restaurant also noisy during business time the whole day. keep hearing noises of plates and door closes it vibrate to my room and i can’t rest peacefully
