1. Villaggio della Salute Più

Monterenzio

"Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal spa pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

6. Agriturismo La Topaia

Borgo San Lorenzo

"Posto gradevole immerso nella natura, silenzioso e tranquillo .. a parte il condizionatore che era rumorosissimo e ha rovinato la quiete del luogo e reso meno piacevole il nostro soggiorno. Piscina pulita, colazione ok, stanza grande e confortevole. Suggerirei di cambiare il condizionatore che era davvero rumorosissimo se portato ad una temperatura inferiore ai 27 gradi … e di provvedere ad un filo fuori dalla finestra per appendere i costumi bagnati .. Top Monghidoro Hotel Reviews

Royal Hotel Carlton

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely beautiful property. Beautiful room. Would stay there again if we are in the area."

Hotel Bologna Airport

10/10 Excellent

"Right next to airport (10 mins)- so convenient for us to stop over prior to Cruise from port of Ravenna. Has a restaurant with mid priced items and a good buffet breakfast. Also a Gym facility that we did not use. Has a small bar at which you can get a good espresso and a snack separate from the restaurant. Taxi to cruise port ran about 200 euros but you can do it much cheeper via train and and shuttle. This worked for us as we were traveling with my 94 year old Father in Law, the fewer transfers the better!"

Hotel Palace Bologna Centro

10/10 Excellent

"The Hotel Palace is stuck in the fifties, but it is in a great location, it is clean, the staff is very attentive and the breakfast is good (with amazing cakes freshly bakes on premises every morning). There are very few modern amenities but clean rooms, excellent location and great price… who cares about modern amenities (there is a lift and there are televisions in the room). There are rumours of renovation, which will change the price and the amenities, although I hope they will keep some of the amazing original woodwork in the breakfast room and the sitting rooms at the entrance"

Starhotels Excelsior

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel was ideally situated across from the railways station. Easy to get into the centre of Bologna either by walking or hop on bus outside hotel. Room was large and clean and everything managed well. Plenty of choice at breakfast. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend to others."
