"Says check in is at noon and when I arrived at 1:30pm they said I couldn’t check in till 230. They kept trying to get me to eat at their restaurant while I waited. But I had plans and just landed and needed to shower and leave. I finally was able to check in but they weren’t nice about it. I made reservations for dinner at 730 with them and when I arrived they didn’t have record of it and gave me a table and said they needed it back in 1 hour. The food was not good! Shocking for Italy! "My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Roncolo! The hotel is new and beautiful, everything is clean and stylish. The hotel, pool, and restaurant sit on a large area of secluded land so you feel very removed and peaceful even though you’re only a few minutes from the nearest town. "We stayed for 4 nights here, in mid april, a very quite and peaceful place. You can get a good sleep here and wake up with the sound of only birds singing. Breakfast is decent, good enough of variety and choices to start the day with. Not that close to major cities but Bologna is about a 20 minutes drive. I don't know how public transportation is in the area but with car it's good accessible."
