Kid Friendly Hotels in Modena

"Well-located hotel within a short 7 minute walk to Bologna Centrale. The rooms were well-appointed with all of the amenities you’d need. The room was very clean, very spacious and very quiet. While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were not equally as comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful with our requests, including assisting us with a van to the airport. The WI-FI worked well. Two markets, several cafes and restaurants in the area, plus about a 15 minute walk up to the main piazza."

"A pleasant stay after a bad travel day was what we needed, and FlyOn was great for that. The property is nicely kept, it looks very appealing and clean, don’t let the road in fool you. We opted for 2 Jr Suites for our family, and the rooms were massive, had great sitting areas that we enjoyed our dinner at, large (but very firm) king beds, and a spacious bathroom. The staff really stood out to us, from check in, to the bellman helping us with a crib, to bringing more pillows, and the front desk helping us trying to get deliveroo to work for us. Even at check out, at 4:30 in the morning, the staff was kind and very helpful. One caveat- if you need to get to the airport, the hotel is next to, not part of the airport, so if you need to get to the airport before the shuttle bus runs, expect a large bill for the taxi. We needed 2 cars since there were no vans running at 4am, and it set us back €40, to go about 5 minutes. That is more of a taxi issue than a hotel issue, but it’s something to be mindful of."

"The hotel is well situated near train station, bus terminal and Neptune Statue. The only problem we had was electrical. The fuse was blown when using an electric razor and the hairdryer would only work on a low speed or overheat and promptly shut off. When the electric shaver was started, all suite lights and outlets tripped, meaning they are all on the same circuit breaker."

"Hotel is “tired”. Needs some fixing up. We couldn’t open our shades to see out the window. Very old rug and “dingy” feel. Scores high for good comfortable bed, good shower pressure and hot water and location. "

"The room and hotel were clean. Roof top bar was nice. The images of the rooms make the room appear larger than they are. With 2 people, 2 suitcases and 2 back packs there was minimal room to get around the bed or into bathroom. The bathroom is in a glassdoored room so if you’re not comfortable on the toilet or showering in front of somebody, get comfortable. The chair to put your shoes on sits in front of the glass doors so you can sit and take in the view of your partner on the pot or in the shower. AC worked great. Great barber two doors down. If you need laundry, get it in early as she gets overwhelmed quickly."

"Great location & breakfast. Excellent staff. Downside was very hard flat bed pillows. Asked for softer / fluffier ones & were given the same hard dead pillows. Last night new people in adjacent room smoked in their bathroom in early hrs with fan on for hrs which sent smoke into mainly our bathroom as we had the door shut during the evening. Next morning the smoke in our. Station almost made us sick. The room next to us was also a non smoking so we were rather upset. Staff apologized of course."
