"We had an amazing stay at Sunshine Marine Lodge. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The reception team helped with arranging tours and activities - we especially loved the tour of Stone Town! The hotel also offers transfer services from the airport, which was really convenient. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful. The food was also great, especially the fresh fruit at breakfast and the daily specials for lunch and dinner. Cannot recommend this stay enough!"

"Lovely place to stay. Food was ok. Room very spacious and beautifully decorated. Massage was absolutely beautiful. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the manager was a bit of an opportunist and will try get extra $$ when he gets a chance. Overall beautiful place. Would definitely recommend."

"J'ai passé un séjour exceptionnel à The Villa of Zanzibar ! Cette villa offre un cadre calme et apaisant, tout en étant à 10 minutes en voiture de Nungwi, un village animé. Pour mon séjour, j'ai loué la Sea View 2. La vue donne directement sur la piscine et plus loin l'océan, un vrai bonheur lors du réveil ! "Three staff is very accommodating, and kind. There's a nice feeling they all know you and are trying to really help. We were there 4 days and it felt like we are a little community. The rooms are comfortable, clean, hot water and good internet connection. The breakfasts are very nice. "Beautiful hotel. The staff is the best part. The barefoot concept is great. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway this is the one. The ocean is not very accessible as it is mainly coral so keep that in mind when booking- you will most likely be 99% in the pool not the ocean."

"Amazing hotel and staff! My every need was met and there was always a staff member close by who was willing to help. We arrived early and our rooms were not ready, they took our bags from us and allowed us to get ready in the change rooms. We went to our excursion and came back to find our luggage in our rooms! They even offered late check out for us! Ahmed is the best bartender ever! Made the best drinks and always had a smile on his face! Too many amazing staff to call out. I will miss Lux...

"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...
