The washing machine was a great perk, and the location was super convenient with mini markets and a train station nearby. A huge thank you for going the extra mile to return the charger cable I left behind - that was so thoughtful! We highly recommend this accommodation!"

"We stayed here for a week. It's a bit out of the way so there are less crowds, but you only have to transfer once to central Tokyo from Ikebukuro, and it is a lot more affordable and we got to do so much more! Beds were super comfy, lots of room and had a lot of amenities available. Staff were really friendly as well and were always willing to help, even providing some advice in English when we needed it. Tokiwadai had a really cozy local vibe and had a lot of good restaurants, convenience...

"The location is excellent at just a 3 minute walk from the Yamanote line. The room was clean and as expected. The aircon worked well and keep cool overnight. The bed was comfy. If you're looking for a no frills, place to sleep and shower, and take off for the day, this is the place to stay at."

"The property is in a residential area so it is nice and quiet at night. Consequently, you need to be quiet yourself, but it makes for a perfect night time get away after busy days in the city. There are lots of restaurants in the area providing plenty of food options for lunch, dinner, or a late night snack. With heasy access to Hatsudai station, I highly recommended this stay as a home base for your Tokyo excursions. "

"マンションを何部屋かホテルとして借り上げたかんじです。地下鉄駅目の前で道路に面しており車の騒音がダイレクト。階段しかなく、喋りながら階段を上がる他の部屋の客の声が室内に丸聞こえでうるさかった。トイレとシャワーは同じ風呂場にあり、仕切りや高低差なし。シャワー浴びる際は濡らさないようトイレットペーパーを外しておかないといけない。風呂場がとにかく臭い。風呂場用スリッパはキッチンのシンク下に入っていた。部屋は臭くない。トイレットペーパーの替えはなし。使い捨て歯ブラシと個包装のコットン&綿棒は机に沢山置いてあった。"

"We had an absolutely perfect time here. Each unit was very well equipped with everything you need for a short term stay; also clean and comfortable. The property manager provided excellent service and was incredibly helpful in a pinch. The check in and check out process was easy. Easy walk to station, shops, and restaurants.
