"The views from our room were spectacular. The staff were very friendly. Lots of free amenities for the guests. The only draw back was that they did not have options for vegetarian. If you have specific dietary restrictions please let them know in advance so they can accommodate. When I booked the hotel there was no option for me to mention’s dietary restrictions. "

"Unique experience! Single occupancy hotel that is more of a ryokan on a quaint street. The owner/chef speaks little English but his hospitality shined through his actions. The lodging above the small sushi restaurant is simple (2 bedrooms with futon beds), but with a modern bathroom and all very clean. The highlight of the stay was the spectacular ~16 course sushi omakase."

"Great location steps away from the ferry terminal. Apartment was huge and clean. Beds were super comfortable. There’s a kitchen and a wash machine if you need it. We would stay again here in a heartbeat. "

"We stayed in the room with the open air bath and it was a beautiful room. The open air bath was worth it with a view of the famous gate. The staff was amazing and so respectful. The location was close to the shrine and shops and not far from the rope pull to go to top of mountain. Highly recommend this hotel! "

"A gorgeous property, top notch and caring service, wonderful food and a beautiful onsen. This is a spectacular place for a stay on Miyajima. We arrived early and our bags were quickly stored. Check in was smooth. The room was large and had a beautiful view of the foliage on the mountainside and sound of the nearby creek. It was so quiet and peaceful! "Beautiful hotel. The rooms are fantastic and have huge windows with nice chaise long in front. The reception is calm and decorated with beautiful bonsai trees. The sushi restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend having one meal here. And the staff couldn’t do enough for us."
