"Absolutely beautiful place to stay, room was very clean, lots to see and the dining/food was fabulous. A few items to note: front desk check-in was a bit slow (especially for bring pre-booked), breakfast is not complimentary and fairly expensive. We chose to eat breakfast elsewhere (but had a really top-notch meal in the hotel the evening before). The phone chargers and both reading lamps in the room were not functional. All in all would highly recommend for the experience, beauty, and excellent location for nearby amenities (Parliament tours, Rideau Centre mall and parking, the Byward Market and an endless choice of restaurants. "

"Tajas. the lovely man at the front desk was extremely helpful with my phone problem. All of the staff was very helpful. I had to be at the Queensway hospital and the GLO is not to far away from there for a perfect quiet hotel to rest in. Victoria."

"I’ve stayed at Brookstreet Hotel many times over the years, and it has always been a place I genuinely look forward to returning to. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience have consistently been excellent, which is why I continue to choose it. However, this most recent stay was not as enjoyable. I was placed in a room that was connected to a neighboring room by a door, and unfortunately the soundproofing was very poor. I could clearly hear conversations from the other room both early in the morning and late at night, which made it quite difficult to sleep and relax. This was disappointing given my past experiences, and I do hope that in future visits I can be placed in a room with better sound insulation. I still value this hotel highly and hope this was just an isolated issue."

"I want to praise the man at the front desk named Tajas. He was so patient with me and my annoying phone problem. A Very patient man. The Glo is perfect and not to far from the Queenseay hospital where l had to be. "
