"This hotel has a fabulous location regarding Lake Winnipesaukee. I stayed there in March of 2025 and 2026 and both times paid a "resort fee" which consisted of nothing. The hotel staff were very nice. My room was clean, but run down. The furniture was scratched, gauged, and set up on blocks of wood. I will say the linens were clean, the amenities were so-so. "We stayed for 2 days, it’s super cute, so convenient to be able to cook cook instead of going out. Room is good size, we had a beautiful Mountain View, the bed is lil on firm side if you like that, and the shower had nice hot water with great pressure! Would stay again for sure "

"The property is well-located within walking distance of the downtown shopping and theater area, so it was a nice option for us. It was clean and in decent shape but it had a stale smell in the hallways and rooms. The breakfast was fine, offering the usual continental breakfast options. The staff were friendly and helpful. We called the front desk to report that the bathroom sink was clogged. The front desk employee brought up a plunger, which my husband tried to use, but it didn't help so we had...

"Still no staff at the front desk at the Palmer Inn. Very cold without staff to go too. Coffee machine is lacking the higher end latte/espresso machine that they have at Church Landing. The new redone rooms are definitely 100% better than before. Total plus."
