"Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit guter Ausstattung und angenehmem Design. Man sollte jedoch über ein Auto verfügen, da die Lage etwas abgelegen ist. Bedauerlich fanden wir, dass der Weg zu unserem Chalet sowie die Terrasse nicht geräumt waren, obwohl es mehrere Tage keinen Neuschnee gegeben hatte. Ich erwarte eigentlich, dass die Wege gut zugänglich sind, so war es bei später Anreise eine Rutschpartie, vor allem mit Gepäck."

"The property is nice and Quiet. You can hear the forest talk in the morning. And morning walks to the local village was one of my highlights of my stay. The owner help me a lot and went way out of the way to help me. I hopped on a plane from America to Japan with a backpack and a few days worth of clothes. "We had a fabulous stay. We loved our private onsen on the first floor, it was surrounded by rocks and very serene. The dinner and breakfast were also fabulous. We were a bit nervous with our 11 year old who can be a picky eater, but they provided a children’s menu for the main dinner, while allowing her to try a few things from the adult dinner. This was one of the highlights of our trip!"

"Loved our stay here. Staff was thorough and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. First time sleeping on tatami mats! This was the most expensive hotel on our Japan trip as we were hoping to see Mt Fuji from our room. Unfortunately we didn’t, as it was cloudy. The French restaurant was expensive with very small portions, but flavorful dishes. The breakfast was simply amazing; we got to try Japanese traditional dishes. The free shuttle goes from Kawaguchiko Station to the hotel. "

"I really enjoyed my stay here. My room felt spacious and very clean. I will say however it is a 20 minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station so if you have a lot of luggage like I did (2 Large Suitcases and a Backpacking bag) I'd recommend using a Taxi or their luggage services to avoid carrying all your luggage around. The staff was very polite and very helpful :)"
