Booked with discount from Expedia. Would NEVER book at hotel's advertised price. Very dated, rooms were cramped and dark. To top it off there was INSTANT coffee in the room. Seriously? Won't stay there again, even with a discount.

Bit of a hiccup when we arrived..we arranged a cot and they told us they couldn’t accommodate at first. They sorted it out though. After that it was a fabulous experience. I recommend this hotel :)

I’m a regular customer at the Graduate and was disappointed in two ways: 1. I arrived early and wanted to check in early. I was charged $30 for checking in early. I felt this was an unnecessary charge … do better Graduate. 2. After checking in, the toilet in my room didn’t completely flush, even after 5 flushes. If a hotel is going to nitpick little charges for checking in early, the least they can do is make sure the toilet works properly … do better Graduate. The location is very convenient to UMN, with plenty of dining and tavern options.

We LOVED the decor and attention to detail in the whole building. Our ac didn't work and it was super warm even with the window opened. Maintenance never made it to fix it and housekeeping never came through. But it looked as if only one woman was working on our floor so I can't fault her for being swamped. Our fridge had to be "turned on" every hour for some reason.

Stayed in a suite, no bedding for pullout. Bathroom had not been cleaned. Front desk staff was ok but we never received bedding. Drawers in the room did not close. Small beds and rooms. Furniture uncomfortable and dirty. Restaurant is messy, slow service, bacon was raw, waitress never came back to ask about anything.

Very unique with a college and Twin Cities themed decor and accommodations. The lobby was unfortunately cold even with a functioning fireplace. I would have enjoyed my time spent in this area but it was chilly and uncomfortable. So I adjourned to the room.

Sad that there are no restaurants bars or fast food open in and around Graduate after a night basketball game. Can’t understand why the bar in the Graduate closes so early? If it’s about safety hire security but this is a bummer and I rate the hotel Lowe because of this.

They should include property fee in the hotel reservation fee at total. They charge the property fee separately at check out. But the staff is nice so generally is good.

I am hesitant to leave this review as we have stayed at the property 1/2 dozen times and never had any issues. However, this trip wasn't great like the others. Our room was a frosty 62 degrees when we entered it and we promptly turned up the the heat. We then went to the attached Beacon Public House and put our name in for a table with a 40-minute wait. I went up to the room to see if the heat had started to work and it had not. I called the front desk and worked with Redd (great) who sent someone to check it out. In the end, the issue could not be solved and we had to move rooms after dinner and frankly the new room was kind ow weird. As for dinner, after waiting 55 minutes we made ourselves visible to the restaurant hostess while there were at least four clear tables two of which had been reset. The hostess continued to sweep the floor and never noted us. I finally got up and asked her if she had forgotten us and her face told the story. Finally seated only to order an item that they came back to tell me they were out of and then my backup order was also problematic with an element of it being unavailable. Surprisingly off this visit. It was busy and very cold but this nice stay spot was a bit sketchy this trip.
