This lodge is located off the beaten track. It takes about 20 min to get here from Mindo on a narrow dirt road. The accommodation is basic but nice. Staff is small but very attentive. My cabin was spacious with one queen sized bed and three single beds (two of them in a loft). Nature around the lodge is beautiful.

Es una reserva natural muy bien conservada con senderos que dan al Río Mindo. Realmente hermoso. El alojamiento es muy especial con cabañas de madera y Bambu muy acorde con el paisaje y al mismo tiempo de lujo y cómodas. El personal es sumamente atento y el desayuno es local y recién hecho, delicioso con café pasado. Se desayuna frente a los colibríes y muchas aves del lugar hasta vimos una bandada de tucanes volar desde el restaurante. Tuvimos la oportunidad de hablar con los dueños, una familia de biólogos, comprometida con la conservación y sostenibilidad del bosque. Es un poco lejos del pueblo pero vale la pena si quieres ver paisajes y naturaleza pura. Muy recomendado! Igual en carro se hace unos 15 minutos si se quiere acceder a las actividades de Mindo. Volveré con mis hijos para que tengan esta conexión con el bosque nublado
