"I literally only slept here. - I checked in at 11pm and it seemed like a nice place. However, the birds were insanely loud. -but the soap, drapes and bedding were nice. It was also nice to have a little snack bar to buy things and the complimentary breakfast."

"I was staying overnight in Bracebridge ahead of an event the next day. I was welcomed warmly when I arrived, even though I was relatively late. My room had recently been renovated and was super clean and in great condition. I appreciated that there were plenty of towels, and soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers. It was a brief but great stay."

"Great little motel, convenient location off the highway, and only a 5-10 minute walk into downtown Bobcaygeon. The room is spacious, clean, and we found the fridge and microwave so convenient. Desk person is so nice. Easy parking. We’d happily return."

"When checking in I was told the restaurant was closed due to construction and the TV’s in the rooms don’t work because of satellite problems. Once I was in the room I noticed both beds had body fluid stains over the sheets. Checked out immediately."

"Curtain half off hooks, toilet paper holder not there so roll just sitting there unsanitary, ice machine broken, pop machine broken. Big thing is not even a coffee machine in room all guest were upset about that. Only good thing was beds were comfortable. Another guest said they would never stay there again. I guess you get what you pay for."

"We checked into our room which was dated but okay. The floors felt dirty and wet. We settled in and decided to lake the best of it but when we climbed into bed the bedding was damp at our feet. We called the front desk who tried to help by bringing fresh bedding but when we went to change the sheets we discovered the foot of the mattress was soaked with who knows what!!! We asked to change rooms and they accommodated us with another room without a lake view but thankfully with a dry mattress. ...

"Such a beautifully restored home on a tranquil lake - just what we needed! Stephanie and Dave were friendly, helpful hosts who are proud of their property and the details show how much they love this place! The room was lovely and very comfortable. Lots of variety for breakfast - fresh made scones, fruit, variety of breads, smoothies and more. We enjoyed sitting out by the water - canoes, SUPs, kayaks and paddelboats and campfire available. "The room was clean but very basic; the husband and wife team that manages the property (for someone else) were friendly; the property urgently needs a face lift. It looks quite worn. The view and location were excellent. The WiFi did not work; there was no dining facility. The water quality for washing is quite basic since the water is pumped straight from Oxtongue Lake! We would not stay there again or recommend it to our friends."
