"Beautiful building and bedroom and dining room were really great. Clean, tidy, spacious. Owner was welcoming, friendly and made sure the stay was excellent. Gave great advice about the local oub."

"We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! "

"Our 2nd stay at the Sailors Rest...Nice room with fantastic views & a huge king size bed... Great shower & mini fridge with fresh milk & water ...nice touch. Happy with our 1 night stay in Beautiful Appledore & hopefully will return to the Sailors Rest in the future."
