"The room was so clean, much more then many other places I have stayed. The staff was friendly and the pool was very nice. It was a nice location, easy to get to GVSU and then to other places around town. "

"Our room was great and would definitely stay here again. Only very minor complaints. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and liked the Nespresso machine to make coffee in the morning. Personal touches were nice. Downtown area was very pleasant and there were lots of restaurants nearby. Parking is very expensive, although that seems common in the area. The furniture cushions in the lobby, opposite check-in desk, were were stained and frayed. Didn't really explore much of the other...

"Our family of 5 loved the 1 Bedroom suite with a kitchenette. It was very roomy, with a separate bedroom and TV apart from the pull-out couch in the living room. The hotel had good breakfast options for picky kids. They loved the pool too. The location is great, but you will likely need to park in one of the parking garages across the street. It’s within walking distance to great food or shops. Would stay again :)"

"This is a great hotel with a wonderfully river view if you book that side. The evening reception was a nice touch and breakfast was great including a made to order omelette bar. Parking is a bit expensive but it could be worse. "

"My room was disgustingly full of hair, the shower, bathroom sink , and even the ice bucket. The fridge was sticky and gross. Luckily I had my cleaning supplies in my car. I cleaned my own room."

"Reserved a jetted tub room, but didn't get it, said none were avaliable. Floor in the room was not cleaned. Workout room and the pool were closed. Stayed here before and it was much better, very disappointed this time around, not sure I'd go back."

"The photos really didn't do this hotel justice - it's very attractive and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, the room was well-decorated and spacious, and the communal spaces were very nice. We were able to park right out front on the street and walk to many dinner and entertainment options. Be aware that not all rooms have windows, so if that's important to you, be sure to verify before reserving your room. We absolutely loved this hotel and will be back!"

"The shower was cool to warm at best and my room was left open after the bed was made and we went for breakfast with all our valuables inside. "

"Nice downtown location. Convenient access to the Van Andel Arena. Great parking structure for an additional fee. All staff extremely friendly. We had a very spacious room but it felt outdated with items showing a lot of wear and outlets not having USB or C charging stations. A lot of odd and different smells throughout the hotel. The bathroom was dark and not very clean. There was trash in the bathroom when we checked in. Water pressure was low. Overall it was decent place for what we needed. "
