"Perfect place for our first location in Sri Lanka. We stayed three nights and loved it. Very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very welcoming and the quality of the Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner was amazing. We can also recommend the Katamaran tour in the lagoon. Free shuttle to the empty beach also worked great. Would always return here."

"My wife and I stayed for 3 days, which were generally pleasant. The rooms faced the beach, and it was very accessible. Neighborhood was quiet, ideal if you'd like to be somewhere more secluded. There are areas for improvement though. The rooms had on-demand movies, but unfortunately only a handful in the library worked. "This property is designed to take care of your every need. You have a personal butler who you work with for everything—dining, outside excursions, a drink by the pool—and they do an excellent job. Our butler was Menuka and he was wonderful, helpful, and kind. We stayed on the property for the most part and chose to do all of our meals there because we liked the food and the convenience. "My friend and I had a 2 night stay of our 6 nights touring of Sri Lanka. As you walk through the doors you are escorted to the reception area. Check in was quick and you are escorted to your room where you are told of the amenities in the room. The room was clean, spacious and had sea views. We had a balcony with a seated area. Breakfast consisted of wide selection and my food allergies was catered for. I was impressed that the reception staff at the Tide restaurant knew my allergies and a chef would guide me on what was safe or make me something slightly different. The outdoor view from the Tide restaurant is amazing especially at sunset. The food there is very nice. The roof top area is lovely and a very nice place to sit and relax. The complimentary city tour is a bonus and a nice thought. Overall I was very impress with this hotel and I would definitely stay here again."
