"Very homely , fantastically run. Fantastic breakfast. Great stay. Fully recommmended."

"We enjoyed a king bed room with a view of the back garden. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating."

Enkel men god frokost. Hyggelig personale. Svært sentralt med kort gangavstand til alt. Prisen for det er litt trafikkstøy Ville definitivt valgt stedet igjen"

"This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in all of England staying at this charming inn. The food was outstanding as well as the service and staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to visit several of the southern Pride and Prejudice movie sites such as Stourhead or Wilson House. Stonehenge is also close by! Great location! "

Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. "Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub. The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself! Food, especially breakfast was very good.
