"I have stayed at the Hotel Champlain many times, it is comfortable, quiet with one of a kind view of the lake. Friendly staff and wonderful public spaces complete the experience I would highly recommend for anybody visiting Burlington. "

"We pre-paid this room. On arrival we had to wait 10 minutes before checking in. For some reason the lady upgraded our room and charged another $470 on our credit card. We had booked a king size bed. What we got was a tiny room with one queen bed in it…and one bedside table! The place was brand new but the layout was odd with the reception being up one floor. A lot more went wrong there…we won’t go back."

"The room was beautiful! Cozy bed. Loved the valet service! We had breakfast in the Armory. The food was a great value! The service was very professional, but the server was a little slow. It was a very convenient walk to The Flynn where we attended a concert. I would very definitely recommend this hotel."

"This building was built in 1894 so there are some small problems. Overall it is well maintained with modern conveniences. Our room had a jacuzzi tub in the exceptionally large bathroom. The staff are very friendly and engaging. I was hoping for more from their breakfast but it was satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again."

"The creek out back was amazing. The state had a burn ban in affect due to SEVERE drought so we couldn't utilize the fire pit areas. For being late in season there were not many options for dining. I just wish we could have spent more time at the lodge chillin outside, the running water from the creek and river were amazing. The new owners seem to be making upgrades, very friendly people. "
