"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "Loved this place, a small guest house directly on the promenade along the beach front, and in my case with a room overlooking the promenade with a beautiful view of the sea front. Very nice and helpful staff (Sam) asnd a nice small (cafe) and small gift shop. Really lovely place. The room was small for two, with two beds, and a little difficult to negotiate, and the room amenities were very basic. But the place is so nice overall and the location so great, I rate the place 4/5 for what it is (small guesthouse, not an upscale or modern hotel), even though there were drawbacks, I'd certainly stay there again."
