"The hotel reminds me of the Overlook Hotel in The Shining with the old carpet, elevator and accents. That being said, the room and bathroom are charming on their own.
During our stay, our AC unfortunately broke down at 11:30 PM. The staff happily moved us from 3rd to 10th flr and it was the best room!!! It had 2 windows and more real estate.
Staff were excellent. The neighborhood is so quiet and a perfect mix of tourists and locals.

"Brilliant hotel, easy to grab a basic, light breakfast before heading out in the morning!
Room was lovely, it was just that the bathroom taps were in need of fixing as they weren't properly fixed to the sink, so you had to hold them in place whilst turning the tap.
Apart from this small detail, the room was at no fault, and the hotel staff were very friendly and made my short stay feel very warm and welcomed.
If I ever return to NYC, I will be going back to this hotel."
