"Large rooms with great views. Loved the pool area especially for this time of year! Very pricey coffee shop in the lobby! Outdoor areas are fantastic. Need to improve signage - we had no idea the hotel lobby is on the 11th floor! Be prepared to walk - a lot! Not elderly-friendly, unless they have motorized scooters! You will definitely get your steps in! Rooms do not have coffee makers or microwaves and since we were travelling with a toddler and 80 yo it made things more difficult! But overall it’s a great choice!"

"Great staff. Clean room with tv, a bed, a closet, a chair, a bathtub - a great price but few amenities. I had to ask for paper cups ( no glasses) or coffee or chargers. The lobby was striking art deco and there was a café in the hotel where you could get coffee. Also a great location if you want to enjoy Broadway shows and Times Square."

"We recently stayed at The New Yorker for a quick two-day, one-night trip, and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is nice and centrally located right off 8th Avenue, making it very convenient for exploring the heart of New York. Although there was construction happening outside, it did not impact our stay. Check-in was a highlight. The front desk associate was welcoming, allowed us an early check-in, and even provided an upgraded room, which we truly appreciated. There were a few small touches that could have made the stay even better. For a hotel of this size and location, it would have been nice to have complimentary coffee or water available in the lobby. While the room included a Keurig, it only had coffee and no tea options. Additionally, there was no microwave in the room or accessible anywhere in the hotel. After ordering in-room dining, which was quite expensive, it would have been helpful to reheat leftovers rather than having to go back out. Bathroom amenities were also very basic. Items like lotion or makeup remover wipes would have been a nice addition, especially compared to other hotels at a similar or even lower price point. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the location and customer service, but a few added conveniences and amenities would elevate the experience even more. "

"Best part of this place is the location. Room was okay. Little dirty in the corners. But bedding was crisp and clean. Staff made our beds daily and was friendly. Descent value for the hustle and bustle of NYC."

"Staff was nice and very polite perfect hospitality,I had a standard king for one night basic room decent space ok bed perfect shower pressure and it's in the middle of all the action def worth a stay"
