Note that this is *not the Waldorf Astoria*. Always price match, and inspect prior to check-in. We came for our a couple nights of our honeymoon. We reserved a “deluxe king” and requested an upgrade in advance but the property did not answer. On check-in, we again asked for an upgrade but were told none were available and there were no requests associated with the reservation. We were disappointed to see how very tiny a deluxe king was. The shower had not been properly cleaned. We inquired about this to the front desk but were told we had to speak with the manager the following day. We never did get to speak with the manager during any of the 3 days. However, the door was left open to the room we had requested (right next to ours)- a nice spacious room on the corner. No one was in it for the nights we were there. We were very disappointed with the front desk and that the manager did not respond to our requests. The check-in desk was not at all accommodating or welcoming. As a result I cannot recommend this hotel. On a positive note, it appeared that the room was soundproofed from the street noise, which we very much appreciated. The hotel staff who changed the towels were very obliging. The waitresses in the restaurant and the bartender were welcoming and friendly. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to be in the middle of the action. The hotel provided beach chairs, which was very helpful.

Congratulation on your honeymoon and wishing you all the best.The Waldorf Towers was built in 1937 and its registered as an Art Deco and Historic Hotel, not related to the Waldorf Astoria. We do our best to upgrade and accommodate our guests but as you mentioned the room next door was open and not rented since it was under maintenance. We do hope that you will give us another opportunity to be your host on your next trip to Maimi Beach.

Your lovely and terms didn’t align with their. Immensely I cancelled because I thought it was the Waldorf Astoria. I texted them to cancel and they said only exists can cancel it and I went to Expedia page and it said to contact Waldorff. It’s misleading and didn’t provide credible options to cancel. I need a refund.

The hotel is in a fantastic location right in the middle of the ocean drive strip. Less than 3 mins from the beach. Five minutes to the Versace mansion. Right in the middle of many art deco properties. Now for the not so good. The service at check-in was not friendly. The valet parking staff were rude. You have to walk through the patio restaurant to enter the hotel - including dragging your luggage up crowded steps through tables of people eating while the staff stand and watch. While updated the hotel is a vintage property. The rooms are tiny and the walls are thin - we could hear the folks in the next room talking often. It was also a challenge to get the A/C set to cool the room properly. You have to put a key in a slot in the wall to turn on the power. The room will be hot when you first check in. If you’re looking for a property in the trendy strip in south beach this place will do you well. Just understand the property is older. Again - not saying this is a bad place. It is exactly what it is supposed to be.

All hotels on Ocean Drive were built in the 1930's and the entrance for the most part is the same since we do offer al Fresco dining. We had a view of South Beach from our room but the windows were filthy. A lot of noise came through the door and windows. The carpets in the hallway were very dirty and stained. The room was clean. The staff was helpful except we found out that they overcharged us for the valet service.

Great location: 5 min walk from the beach. Exceptionally friendly staff: VERY nice people, responding to your questions fast and resolving any issues. What i didnt like was cleanness: hallway carpet needs replacement, curtains and windows dusty. In summary, i would choose this hotel again because of great stuff, location, and price.

the staff at the hotel made this a fine stay. Carl was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and always asked if there was something else he could do. I booked through Expedia, got a fair rate, when i checked I discovered the AC was not functional for the room I had requested, top floor king with ocean view. Carl made it ok by allowing me to choose from the available rooms. I ended up taking the top floor king with ocean view, it was a spacious room, great views, albeit a tad hot during the day but was ok because it had a ceiling fan, and I was able to leave the door open to the hall which was AC'd. he offered me a free breakfast for the inconvenience. the staff were also accommodating. the hotel is in the heart of south beach, it was thumping but fun throughout my stay.

When I went to check in, the check in system was down, the receptionist didn’t seem to care people were inconvenienced, very laza fair attitude. The room above mine someone was moving all the furniture and stomping in heels most of the night, the floor/ceiling was so thin. The comforter and sheets had stains.

This is a fantastic hotel in the middle of the Art Deco Area! Our room was an ocean view and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant Icon has amazingly food and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The area was great! The stuff was good. The rooms are not big like it seems in the pictures, when it rains the roof is leaking on the stairs! My boyfriend and I got stuck on the elevator two times and the firefighters had to come get us out! I would never stay there again

We went for spring break, worst mistake ever. Had we gone any other time this would be a 10/10 but we didn’t. When we checked in they didn’t even let us know about the valet parking, took us 1 hour and 30 minutes to find parking since everything was closed. I wanted to end our trip on day one honestly cuz of the parking situation. They were able to reimburse us some of the money we spent for parking but not all.

We were upgraded from a standard room to a suite on the 2nd floor corner of the building facing the I oconic illuminated Palm trees and ocean ave so doesn't get any better . Restaurant on property was excellent . My only issue was the bartender was unable to do any drinks off there menu.

Waldorf Towers is perfectly located on Ocean Dr in the heart of the historic Art Deco district. Our room was on the second floor directly on Ocean Dr. Incredibly, the room was soundproofed with double paned windows and quiet. Everything was walkable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with an extremely early check-in at 9am for a nominal fee. Having a room that early allowed us to freshen up as we arrived straight from the cruise terminal. The on-premise sidewalk restaurant had incredibly good food. We liked it so much we had both lunch and dinner there. There was a systemic issue on the second floor rooms with AC not working. They contacted a repairman promptly and the issue was resolved within 2 hours. This is a great hotel in a great place. I would definitely recommend it.

Partially, I think I stayed at the wrong time. Staying on South Beach not knowing it was spring break was a bad idea. The staff was alright, I wasnt made aware of the spring break aspect and wasnt made aware that valet was not going to be available. The room was loud, seemed dated. The hotel needed to be updated, very dated. Had to walk about five blocks to get my car. Room keys weren't working that well. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
