This property has a self check-in service, Which is very convenient, especially because we had a late arrival. We did encounter a few issues. The first room we were given had a bad odor of mildew or mold. But we ended up speaking with property manager and they didn’t hesitate to give us a new room. Which was great. Clean and No odor. Unfortunately the pool was not in service during our stay. This was disappointing because it was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel. However thanks to management, they refunded us the property fee for the inconvenience. I would like to shout out Francesca (property manager) for being so accommodating and responsive and making sure we were satisfied. Especially since their management company just took over a week before our arrival. All in all I would return to The meridian simply because of Francesca’s great customer service

My family and friends (9 of us in total, including two kids) stayed for a weekend in three rooms at this hotel, and we had a terrible experience. First, you have to pay $94 for valet parking, and every time you need your car, it takes 30–40 minutes for them to bring it. The kids wanted to use the pool, but it was closed, and there was no one at the front desk. The rooms were extremely dirty, smelled like mold, and we even saw a cockroach. We all ended up showering with flip-flops on. My 10-year-old son told me, “Mom, please take pictures and write a review so people don’t waste their money like we did.” The bed frames had sharp metal parts sticking out with no covers, the sliding door was very hard to open and covered in mold, the curtains were torn, and the bathroom tiles and grout were filthy. The balcony was also very dirty, and no one came to clean the rooms during our stay. Everything was in poor condition, and we couldn’t enjoy our weekend as we hoped. I decided to write this review so others don’t have to go through the same bad experience or waste their hard-earned money.

I recently stayed at this property with family and friends, and our experience was truly awful from start to finish. We had multiple rooms, and every single one of them was in unacceptable condition. The rooms were filthy, the floors hadn’t been properly cleaned, the bathrooms were disgusting, and the white curtains were torn and stained. The beds were uncomfortable with old, noisy mattresses that creaked every time you sat or moved. You could literally see grime and soap scum in the shower, and some of the bathroom tiles were falling off. The glass shower door was covered in mold and barely opened because it felt like it was about to come off the hinges. The shower head barely released any water, making it impossible to bathe properly. My friends, who were staying on the 4th floor, said their room had a strong moldy smell, and they even saw a cockroach crawling around. Even the kids in our group noticed how dirty and run down everything was. We ended up showering with flip flops on and kept our luggage zipped tight to avoid bringing any roaches home. Throughout our entire stay, no one came to clean the rooms, not even to take out the trash. It honestly feels like the cleaning staff just changes the sheets and nothing else. From the moment we arrived, I had a bad feeling. The roof at the hotel entrance was damaged, and unfortunately, that was a preview of what awaited inside. It’s a shame because the hotel has a great location, but the management clearly doesn’t care.
