The apartment is spacious with large king-size beds and clean bathrooms, and the location is unbeatable — supermarket right below, free Miami Beach buses, a free boat to Downtown and Brickell nearby, and Lincoln Road a short walk away. The pool is lovely.
However, the pre-arrival and check-in experience was frustrating. The booking process had payment form issues, and phone support was very hard to reach.
On arrival, our access codes were changed without direct notification — we only discovered this via Expedia messaging after the fact, costing us about an hour. The kitchen was also unclean on arrival and took around an hour to resolve — not through official support but by flagging a maintenance person on site. Staff on the ground were friendly and helpful, but it shouldn't have come to that. One sofa had cigarette burn marks, which felt disappointing.
The sofa beds were a letdown too — no bedding provided initially, and the mattresses were worn and squeaky, in stark contrast to the excellent king beds.
Finally, property replies via Expedia messaging often arrived as file attachments rather than readable text, making communication unnecessarily awkward.
Once those first-day issues were behind us, the stay was genuinely enjoyable. Great location, lovely pool, spacious apartment. With better pre-arrival communication and support, this could easily be a 5-star experience.
