Very disappointing stay. Would not recommend.
Condesa Residence was easily one of the most disappointing accommodations I’ve booked. While the location is excellent, nearly everything else fell well below expectations.
The room was poorly maintained, with visible damage and very worn furnishings that were not reflected in the online pictures. It was not clean. There was a persistent musty/mildew smell. Note there is no air conditioning. The overall condition of the property was simply unacceptable given the price and how it was advertised.
What makes this particularly frustrating is the overwhelmingly positive reviews online, many of which describe a vastly different experience from what I encountered. Based on those reviews, I expected a clean, comfortable, well-maintained property. The reality was nowhere close.
The accommodations were disappointing enough that we chose to leave and book another hotel rather than stay for the remainder of our reservation.
Condesa is a fantastic neighborhood with plenty of better accommodation options. Unfortunately, Condesa Residence does not live up to its reviews or advertised expectations. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
