"This is our favorite place to stay this Japan trip. The room is very large and spacious. The deep outdoor soaking tub is a huge plus traveling with a kid. You have to walk up the stairs to the 3rd floor but they have a luggage/cargo elevator so all you need to do is to walk yourself up there without the hassle to haul luggages. Parking is not included but there is a small paid parking lot right next to the backstreet of the hotel. Walking distance to JR Nara station."

"Thank you very much for a wonderful stay at this idyllic Ryokan in the heart of Nara forest! The service was sublime. The two hostesses who welcomed me and served my exquisite Japanese meals were wonderful. The whole unit is detached, containing as it does a spacious tatami room, where meals were served, large bedroom with two large Western-style beds, an excellent bathroom with traditional stool, bucket and shower and a very deep bath, already drawn and ready to bathe in. "Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour! Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages dès notre arrivée. Notre chambre était très agréable et avait une vue incroyable sur le jardin. Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Nous avons apprécié les différents échanges avec les personnes présentes que ce soit le personnel ou les autres hôtes. Bref, nous recommandons !"

"This is one of the best hotels in Nara I would say - perfect location (very close to JR but quiet), nice and helpful staff, free amenities and drip coffee - quality is good, hot spring is small but clean and neat, very clean room, inexpensive when the quality is so high! I am so happy to have stayed here. Would definite come back when I visit Nara again."
