"Plenty of parking. Night staff were very friendly. Room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. Would stay there again. Breakfast was continental- no frills."

"Expedia listed this property having free internet, but you had to become a Wyndom member or pay for WiFi use. The property was older, but clean and had a microwave, fridge (no freezer in the fridge which was inconvenient), TV, breakfast, one complimentary alcoholic drink per guest (unfortunately I left before breakfast and don’t drink, so I can’t comment on quality) coffee maker, The only dealing I had with the staff was the front desk and they were very pleasant and helpful."

Breakfast items were varied however, the hot breakfast was definitely not hot and there was not any staff to keep tables and serving areas clean. "This hotel was like stepping into the past! It at one time was VERY GRAND and currently is now located in a very depressed area of Topeka. The State Capitol! It was very sad and depressing to see the current situation of this hotel. The breakfast buffet in the morning inside the atrium was lovely and attended by staff. No problems encountered except sadness for the current condition of this area likely due to economics."

"I just needed a simple place to stop and get some sleep, and this fit the bill. The registration staff were excellent—they were totally prepared for my arrival, and check-in was a breeze with zero issues. The bed was comfortable, and the AC was already cranking at a chilly 59 degrees when I walked in, which was great.
