Wonderful Hotel

The reception and management were very nice and service great. Dani in the restaurant was the best. They made our stay amazing. The rooms are large and well equipped. The architecture of the hotel is amazing.

I am a germophobic and this hotel is just perfect hight cleanliness level. The staff was always courteous and friendly. The property is located in a spot where you can easily walk to the historic center and nice restaurants. Here are some points to improve: -The light of the ac control is way too bright for the ones that like to sleep in a dark space. -the room doesnt have a fan and the guests are required to turn off the ac when leaving somewhere when you're back the room feels stuffy same thing after showers. - I left my bathing suit hanging on the hamac to let it dry out, disappeared after we came back from a walk. I reported it to the front desk but nothing was done.

I cannot say enough good things about this fabulous hotel. I stayed there for 10 nights and was amazed by how perfectly manicured the property was, the cleanliness of the rooms, the size of the rooms and the private plunge pool, the amazing food at the restaurant (try the grilled onion petals!), and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. This really was a dream vacation thanks to Casa Loreto. It was the perfect hotel. The only critique I could give is that it’s about a 20 minute walk from prime Centro, meaning it is not as conveniently located as some of the other tourist trap hotels. However, I had no problems walking around the city from CL, and it allowed me to explore Barrio Santiago. Thank you, Casa Loreto, for a stellar vacation!! I will definitely be back, hopefully soon!

Restaurant was limited with options and would serve dishes with partial or changed ingredients. They would run out of food (bread and ketchup). The water was not working the last day and I sent a message to the front desk and the front desk attendant was asleep and never got the message. We had no running water in our room to shower, flush, etc. The pool had algae that went uncleaned (with bugs floating around): that’s not usable:

Casa Loreto 1893 is an on oasis in the city. It is on a busy street, yet the property is very serene. It is an architectural beauty that was designed and decorated very well. I enjoyed the enclosed patio in front of my room, with a hammock. It was very relaxing to unwind on in the evening, after a day of walking around in the heat. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The property also provides free parking. The only downside is the immediate area. It wasn't terrible but I wasn't crazy about it. Cafes and shopping are a several blocks away. Normally, I wouldn't mind the walk, but it was very hot (100 degrees F) during my visit. Overall, it was a very good stay. I recommend Casa Loreto.
