Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend! Das Zimmer war für mich als Businessreisender ungeeignt. Keine Tischsitzgelegenheit um mit Notebook zu arbeiten. Leider wat auch im Bad der Abfalleimer vom Vorgänger nicht geleert worden. Das Bad hatte eine Badewanne mit Whirlpool, doch zum Duschen keinen Spritzschutz

Frühstück & Lage top - Zimmer flop

Lage: top Frühstück: top Zustand der Zimmer, insbesondere das teurere "Design-Zimmer": mehr als Flop !! War uns schleierhaft, wo die 4**** herkommen sollen - evtl. war das mal 1982 so - 2025 ist der Preis dafür aber sicher nicht gerechtfertigt (siehe Foto anbei) Soweit wurde uns dann aber anstandslos ein anderes Zimmer angeboten - aber Zimmer, Korridor, etc. ist definitiv in die Jahre gekommen und hätte für eine 4-Sternebewertung dringend eine Auffrischung nötig !

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Aurora hat uns überaus gut gefallen. Es ist ein sehr stilvolles Haus. Den Hoteleignern ist es gelungen, eine wunderbare Mischung aus Eleganz, Komfort und Behaglichkeit zu schaffen, in der man sich nur wohlfühlen kann. Die sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Hotelmitarbeiter umsorgen die Gäste allerbestens. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Warmgetränke werden am Tisch serviert. Der Kaffee ist ausgezeichnet. Die Lage des Hotels an der Uferpromenade könnte nicht besser sein. Auf der vorgelagerten, wunderschönen Hotelterrasse lässt es sich ganztägig sehr angenehm verweilen. Die angebotenen Kuchen und Torten sind ausgezeichnet. Ein Essen im Hotelrestaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen! Die Zimmer sind mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen kurz- oder auch längerfristigen Aufenthalt benötigt. In den bequemen Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Fazit: Dies war unser erster Aufenthalt in Meran. Ein weiterer ist bereits geplant. Unsere Wahl wird wieder das wunderbare Hotel Aurora sein. Danke an das ganze Team! Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch bei Ihnen.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber mit einem schönen Balkon. Allerdings war die Einrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Kleiderschrank hat beim Öffnen furchtbare Geräusche von sich gegeben.

Location excellent. Parking inconvenient. When we arrived, a very polite young male member of staff was extremely helpful. Reception was very cold. We also found a older waiter called Ukh very rude, because of this we decided not to eat at hotel. Big shower head was reported as not working,,but was not fixed.

Das Hotel ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, dafür aber gut in Schuss gehalten. Wenn man aber mit der Zeit gehen möchte, müsste man einmal ordentlich investieren. Das Frühstück ist gut, nichts außergewöhnliches, aber gut. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in einer nahegelegen Tiefgarage. Alles in Allem sind wir zufrieden, aber nicht "begeistert". Preis-/Leistung passt :-)

Reception/Empfang: superb! Hotel: magnifico

Perfekter Stopp für Radfahrer – wir kommen wieder! Wir (zwei Radfahrer auf Tour) hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt im Hotel Aurora in Meran. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft – direkt am Fluss, mitten im Zentrum und trotzdem ruhig. —- Ottimo hotel per ciclisti – tutto perfetto! Siamo due ciclisti in viaggio e abbiamo passato una bellissima notte all’Hotel Aurora a Merano. La posizione è fantastica – proprio accanto al fiume, centrale ma tranquilla. Ideale per chi viaggia in bici! La colazione era molto buona, con tanti prodotti locali (formaggi, frutta fresca, pane buonissimo). Grande varietà, e tutto fresco. Il momento più bello? Alla reception ci hanno accolti con un sorriso vero e ci hanno dato un upgrade gratuito con vista sul fiume – che panorama! La stanza era bella grande e molto pulita, ci siamo trovati benissimo. C’è anche una cantina per biciclette, con possibilità di ricaricare le bici elettriche – molto comodo! Non abbiamo trovato nessun difetto, torneremo sicuramente la prossima volta che passiamo da Merano.

Ein zentral gelegenes Hotel mit wunderschönem Blick auf Stadt und Berge – einfach traumhaft! Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Unser Zimmer war hell und einladend, das Bett bequem – auch wenn es mit 140 cm etwas schmal für zwei Personen war. Das Frühstück war insgesamt sehr reichhaltig und wurde ab 7 Uhr angeboten. Leider gab es bis fast halb acht noch keine Eier oder Rührei am Buffet, was uns wirklich enttäuscht hat – wir mussten los und konnten deshalb nichts mehr abbekommen. Das war schade, denn ansonsten hat wirklich alles gestimmt.

Lovely attentive staff. Unloaded luggage at the rear of the hotel and with help of great directions parked across the river in the secure underground parking at the Thermal Baths. Easy 5 minute walk back to the hotel lobby. Great spot!!
