Beautiful hotel! Comfortable beds and amazing staff! The hotel is located walking distance to the Civil Rights museum and several restaurants and bars. Highly recommend!

The staff was wonderful. There is a trolley just outside the hotel that costs $2 for all day. Two of the best museums: “Rock & Soul” and “National Civil Rights at the Lorraine Hotel” The barbecue across from the Lorraine Hotel Museum.

Great location. We enjoyed happy hour in the bar and had a wonderful brunch at the Bishop. Manager of the restaurant was very accommodating for our large party. Rooms were clean and comfortable. With a few exceptions, most of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Great, unique property in the heart of Memphis! Brunch was delicious, and staff were really helpful. The bar area is great and we enjoyed happy hour whilst listening to some great music.

Nice throwback hotel
We really enjoyed the train-themed decorations and amenities. The workout room was very good. The location is convenient to the National Civil Rights Museum.

I liked that there was security riding around the parking lot at night and that the parking was on top of the building and not in a dark parking garage. I also liked the history knowing the hotel was once a train station. The hotel bar and lounge area with a DJ was nice to have. It would have been nice to hear a variety of music since the city is known for it's music history. I liked the view from my room. I could see the city and the Lorraine Hotel. The two things I didn't like was the hallway floors leading from the elevator to the hotel rooms. They are tile but not clean, and that there was no microwave in my room. Overall, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again. The location was great, the staff was friendly and I felt safe.

The hotel was nice, rooms had a great view of downtown Memphis, and the Eight & Sand bar was awesome. I really wanted to enjoy the in room dj playlist throughout our stay, but that didn't work during and engineering couldn't determine how to fix it. I would stay here again but maybe upgrade to a bigger room.

I was not able to adjust the room thermostat because it is coded off. The front desk had no way to know the code. A $200 a night room should allow total control and comfort. I will not return.

BAD!!!
We came to the hotel. They told us it would be ready at 3:00pm. We came back around 4:20pm. Then they mentioned that they can’t deliver it until 5:00pm. At the time my wife and I chose to pick another hotel. Further they charged my card claiming that it was a non-stay. That was totally not true. The Hotel did not deliver what they was supposed to deliver.

Fun Place to Stay in Memphis
Although a bit pricey, this is a great place to stay in Memphis. The hotel itself is very nice. The decor is unique and fun, the staff were all very friendly. Our room was a little on the small side but not too cramped. The parking lot appeared to be patrolled 24 hours by security. The hotel is in a good location. Easy walk to Beale street and felt safe while out. I would definitely stay here again.

We weren’t able to get to the hotel the first night but I didn’t think it was a problem because we had already paid for the rooms for both nights and I had done a virtual checkin (and picked our rooms). When we arrived we were told we were a no show and our rooms had been given away. We were offered new rooms but we had to pay AGAIN. Why did we have to pay twice? If you’ve already got our payment for the 2 nights, you’re not out of pocket if we don’t get there for the first night. No one was willing to help other than charge us again. We were told our parking would be compt but it is still on the charge card. Terrible service and policy
