"This is a wonderful centrally located hotel that includes a fresh and good full buffet breakfast. The chef/kitchen manager (not sure of his title) Javier, is such a kind and helpful person. He was genuinely interested in whether we liked our food and even made recommendations. We have srayed here numerous times and he remembers us and greets us.
This hotel is near Houston Memorial Mall and well known restaurants. Pets are allowed. And the rooms are pretty big with kitchenettes and sleeper...

"In Its' day this place was a showplace. It is still very nice with the largest lobby that I have seen maybe ever. The hotel is a bit tired. It will be a massive undertaking to bring it up to where it was in its prime. Bar was good. Food looked really good. Outdoor pool was large and clean. I paid a fair rate. It was a good value. "
