"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back."

"Staff was welcoming and the check in process was quick and easy. The room was newly remodelled, clean, quiet and comfortable. They are in the process of remodeling, but my stay was not interrupted by it. I would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to others."

"The Rayburn Hotel is being renovated. Check-in for the Dalles Inn is located in the alley behind Rayburn. Staff was friendly and helpful, continental breakfast, even though Staff seemed to be in a storage closet. I loved the beds and just because I did, will make a point to stay at this property when I travel through the area. Thank you. 1 problemis all first level room at the Dalles seem to be single beds.
