Nice apartment very well located in center Melbour
Very well located apartment in downtown Melbourne. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Be mindful that they don’t have a reception or room service however they were very accommodating in arranging a way for me to get the key.

Air conditioning was lacking. A room air conditioner that never really cooled off the apartment. Odd smell in the entrance of the building. The location was very good.

The amenities were appreciated, all in good condition. Very well received by the owner. The King Bed were comfortable, WIFI worked well. All requests regarding checkin and check out were handled professionally and to our satisfaction. Very Clean as well A short walk to the cafe lane ways of Melbourne. The location is awesome in Flinders Lane .

Property is central but wasn't very baby friendly. It was ok for a couple of nights but wouldn't stay any longer than that. - No plug in kitchen for me to wash my babys bottles etc properly. - Not even a little bottle of milk was supplied to make a cup of tea or coffee. - Exhaust fans in bathrooms were all mouldy - Dishwasher smelt disgusting and had food and glass in bottom of it - Pillows on bed smelt gross - And had to get rid of our own rubbish and recycling even after paying $300 a night....

2 Night Stay
The check in process was via a local cafe which I did not enjoy. The key was provided with no instructions, though I was lucky than someone exited the building and was able to provide assistance. There was left over food in the fridge and the draws had food crumbs through out. The air con sounded like a jet air plane. The outside noise at night filtered through out the room and the room let in too much light at night. The wifi and the location was great.

A family get together.
The apartment we had was in the Center of Melbourne easy walking distance to cafes,restaurants,train and tram station. Good wifi. Handy to have a washing machine and dryer. The only disappointment was that it was very small not the impression you get from the photos.

Central to Melbourne CBD
Stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment at 238 Flinders Lane. The unit was well presented, roomy and quiet, given its location in the centre of Melbourne. Big living area, with a big comfy lounge made for a couple of relaxing nights.The Regent Theatre, the reason for our visit, was a matter of mere minutes walk away. There was plenty of restaurants within a minutes walk.

Disappointing
I found my stay here disappointing for many reasons: 1) Bathroom had two burnout lightbulbs and the washing machine had a visibly broken handle. 2) I had to walk for blocks on a very hot evening to get a second key. I was clear when I booked that 2 people were staying so the 2nd key should have been provided at the start or at the very least brought to the apartment. 3) The fridge was exceptionally loud. I travel a lot for work and this the loudest fridge I have ever encountered and as the apartment was open plan I found it disturbed my sleep. 4) Only one side of the bed had a reading lamp and power outlet. 4) I was disappointed that the owner had no flexibility regarding checking out after 10am. My flight was at 6:30pm so we ended up having a very long wait at the airport. We were given the option of walking many blocks to their offices to leave our bags there but only if we had a ‘small amount of luggage’. While I am a fairly seasoned traveller and able to traverse the odd logistical issue that might come my way I did not feel they went out of their way to make sure we were catered for.

Convenient location , but room very average.
It was ok, but the carpets were not clean and apartment didn't feel fresh and clean. I was alone and felt safe as it was very private so that was a plus and location waa geat.

Hi Joy, Thanks for your review, as we are a small accommodation provider in Melb CBD, I have just been thinking about your booking & review. You rang me the night before your Check in date & said you were arriving in Melbourne @ 5.30 AM and were looking to check early, Like 7.30 AM. You were on the Ferry from Tasmania Over Night as well. (This must have been a awesome experience for you.) I told you at that time I could check you in @ 10.30 AM which is 3.5 Hours earlier than normal. I see you didn't say any thing about checking you in early on your review. ? The only reason it was HOT Stuffy is because you Opened the windows on a 38 Deg C day. I never really responded to reviews but you are a special person. Plus my Name is not David, its Peter j

There's a lot to love about this apartment
I love staying at this apartment. Location wise it's perfect. There's a Coles and Woolies right around the corner, a tram stop at the front door and Burke St Myer is no more than 5 minutes walk away. The apartment itself is spacious, quiet and very comfortable and the host is super obliging. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Great location and helpful staff!
Peter was very helpful and professional in his approach organise my key pick up and parking arrangements. The apartment is right in the centre of the city but very quiet which was fabulous! The bathroom is fairly small and has a small hot water service, so quick showers are a must! The kitchen has everything you need and the small balcony allows for some fresh air.

Apartment Flinders House located in Flinders Lane. The apartment was in a great location close to restaurants, shopping, MCG everything you want. Apartment was clean and fully equipped. Check in although not at the apartment building was a breeze and perhaps I should not say this but an early check in was permitted. Great thanks to Melbourne City Stays (Peter).

Fab accommodation
We spent the weekend in Melbourne to celebrate a birthday....a trip to the MCG for a football game, dinner at a fab restaurant in Chinatown and then on to Crown. The accommodation in Little Collins street with Melbourne City Stays was perfect - great location. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and it was great to have a kitchen!! Would be sure to book this again for our next trip. Special thanks to Peter - who was easy to contact!!

Great Location
Couldnt do better than this for an ideal location, especially for a lover of good food and good coffee. Dukes is immediately across the road and the perfect way to start the day! Paul made key collection very easy and communication was great for anything we needed during our stay.

Good price for this apartment in a great location. Needs updating. I thought the coffee table would collapse if you sat a glass of water on it. Thick dust around edges of room. Communication from the managers is appalling. If you book this apartment call the managers on the day to double check where the key will be.

I was treated so rudely I did not even stay there.
I arrived at the hotel only to find no one there and no instructions. I rang the number on my booking sheet and was told I should come to another address to pick up the key. I was alone, late at night in an area with lots of street people around with all my luggage, locked out and standing in the street. I was told by the proprietor that he would be about 20 minutes before he would come. I am a woman in my 60's and not familiar with the area. I said that if he could not come in the next 5 minutes, I would leave as I did not feel safe. He said the he would be 20 minutes or maybe more. I asked if I could get a refund. He said "No". I ended up staying elsewhere that night. I think that the treatment I received at this hotel was disgraceful.

Hot room.
The room was very hot . The air conditioning was on when we entered the room and we left it on all day and night until I noticed the hot air was not escaping out of the room as there was two windows and the hot air was trapped between the two windows. I was not able to open the window so it was a hot and sleepless night. Very disappointed and would never stay again
