After a 8 hour drive when we arrived, the staff confirm that it was me and let us rest provide us with tea. The breakfast is amazing and the restaurant food was delicious. "The photos are simply untrue. The camp is in poor condition - broken chairs & lanterns; blankets thrown about; garbage strewn here & there. There is only one outlet in each tent and electricity was not always available. We had less than five minutes of hot water over 48 hours. "The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner.
