Dirty bathroom broken tub ice cold water that smelled poorly not worth the money paid. Very dissatisfied with the conditions of the property. The only thing ok was the gym but most of the treadmill and elliptical were broken.

The room floor was not clean, the shower did not have hot water and the water was white and felt dirty. Air-conditioning not serviced. At the restaurant service was horrible and very dirty, no one cares

Average for the price.
Nice large rooms with decent wifi and breakfast. The rooms are a little run down with poor quality towels, no bath mat or laundry list. A little far from centre of town however you can easily get there with bajaj. Good shower pressure but poor hot water. They kept and looked after our bags whilst we went on our volcano tour.

Low Expectations
The bad: Check-in was confusing, the restaurant service was super slow, the hallway floors were filthy, the rooms usually didn't have hot water, the cleaning staff forgot to provide towels. The good: The staff were friendly and spoke decent English, the beds were comfortable, the swimming pool was large and the gym staff were helpful. Bottom Line: In Europe this would be a 2 star hotel that wouldn't be able to compete. It is, however, probably the best hotel in Mekele and lots of foreign tourists stay there.

Pretty much a problem from the start.
Problems started at check in. We were only issued 1 key card per room. We had 3 people in a suite and 2 in a double room. This caused problems as we weren't on the same schedules. There was a problem with the hot water in the suite with the desk promising to send someone to the room to investigate which never happened. Towels were not replaced in a timely fashion, our last two days there was no shampoo in the in the shower. Bottom line we've stayed here previously and still really like the day to day staff but the management or lack of has ensured we will never do so again.

Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and nice. WiFi was pretty terrible because they don’t have a password on it and local residents just come to use it in the lobby.

Our bad experience started with the free shuttle: it was not waiting for us at the airport. We had to call the hotel and wait 30 min in the heat. The room is huge, but the bed is small. The shower was cold and the wi-fi was not connecting in our room (we had to sit in near the elevator to have some signal). The breakfast is for locals, except for the omelet.

Don't visit if you're the same gender.
I booked this hotel with my colleague for one night while we were visiting Mekelle for work. During booking we through we booked a twin but accidentally booked a queen. We figured this was ok because we were booked for one night, are two adults and didn't see anything in the Terms and Conditions advising against this. Upon arrival the hotel applied pressure on us to upgrade and pay more for a twin because "International Law" dictated that two women cannot share a room unless it's a twin. In the end we were able to keep our queen after pointing out the missing "laws" in the Terms in Conditions and the hotel facilities were top notch. It's just a shame that check-in affected our experience.

Not a bad hotel but book the lowest room rate
Booked a suite and was only given a standard room and not offered a refund while others in our group were given upgraded suite rooms. Otherwise the room was fine, initially quite dirty but they hadn’t cleaned so once cleaned it was fine. Food in the restaurant is good but don’t bother with the injera - get Spaghetti with Arrabhiyata and the Rice with Beef

About what I expected
It was a pretty nice place the food was fairly good, the only downside was there was a board missing from the wall which I saw a mouse scurry though, given the huge size of the room though I was not really worried about it bothering me.

Don't stay here if you can help it.....
Worst service of any hotel I have stayed in: - Staff is completely useless, have to call 5 times for anything to happen - Upon arrival, room wasn't cleaned and several items were missing; everyday they would forget at least one thing or another while cleaning - There for 7 nights, internet was functional only 1 night - 3 of the nights there was absolutely no internet, and 3 of the nights it took them 2-3 hours to get it going in the evening, and even then it was excruciatingly slow - When you order something from the menu, don't expect to actually get what it says on the menu; you may get fries, rice, vegetables, or whatever they feel like serving that night - Got a fan for the room since it was hot; one day came back to find out that they had just taken the fan without checking; then they finally brought it back 2 days later after the other guest whose room they had moved it to checked out - Gym manager was too busy hosting a party for his friends in the gym to actually do anything during the time I was there - When I wanted to speak to the owner to complain, I was told he was busy in Addis tending to another one of his businesses - Upon checkout, they were trying to charge me all sorts of weird prices for the food and the minibar stuff I had used Shame because the facility itself isn't terrible, but the staff and management are utterly useless.... Would never stay here again if there was any way I could avoid it

It was a great, clean hotel with wonderful food in the restaurant. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. We loved the pool too! We would definitely stay here again if we were in town.

No room in pick-up vehicle at airport. Room allocated was dirty and not cleaned. Many of staff unhelpful and have no knowledge of places of interest, even when they are 5 minutes from the hotel. Not a 5 * hotel or even close.

Room was large and well appointed. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean. Plenty of hot water, I added the last because this seems to be a recurring complaint in Ethiopia but I've only experienced it once several years ago. Only dings were the bathtub leaked and there was an issue with the bus to the airport and both these issues were resolved. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again. The staff really make the place,

The swimming pool is outdoor in the photo, but the actual pool has a roof. Swimming cap is required if you swim in the pool.

De service was uitmuntend, echter lieten de faciliteiten te wensen over. Het zwembad was vies en tevens gesloten, de inductie kookplaat in de keuken op onze familyroom lag in scherven. De kamer was bedoeld voor 6 personen echter was er maar slaapplek voor 4 personen. Wel was de kamer erg comfortabel en ruim opgezet. Een badkamer had een jacuzzi en douche met Turks stoombad en massagestralen, echter kwam er maar een dun straaltje water uit wat tevens koud was en de badkamer liep vol water na gebruik. Er hing later ook een rioollucht. Op de kleinere badkamer gaf de douche ook slechts een klein koud straaltje. Voor bijna €250 per nacht verwacht je op zijn minst warm water. Ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid. De Spa was ook niet helemaal wat je ervan zou verwachten. Een massage werd gegeven in een klein hokje met tl-verlichting en een hoop herrie van de nabij geplaatste aggregator, niet echt ontspannend. Prijs kwaliteit is om bovengenoemde redenen wat mij betreft niet helemaal in verhouding. Had hogere verwachtingen van het hotel.

空港からホテルまでの送迎はスムーズでした。 片言の英語しか話せない私に優しく案内もしてくれました。入り口には荷物チェックもあり、安心しました。客室は比較的清潔でした。停電もなく、スマホの充電も出来、Wi-Fiもスムーズでした。シャワーは少しもの足りませんでした。ホテルのレストランは美味しかったです。味もしっかりついており、欧米向けになっているのかと思いました。帰りも空港までバスで送ってくれました。スタッフの笑顔がとてもよかったです。

ほっと落ち着けるホテル
エチオピアで清潔感のあるホテルは仕事からも遊びからも戻ってきてほっとできます。朝食はファスティングの時期だった所為か肉っ気がありませんでしたが、種類はありました。水回りの仕上げが悪いのはエチオピアのどのホテルも同じですが、気になったのはその程度です。
