"We loved this hotel - well apartment really. It was spacious and clean. Had everything you would want. We had a 2 bedroom- 2 bathroom suite and were there during an extreme heat wave. The rooms were very cool with the in room air conditioning units. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can walk to the beach from the Belmar and Ubers were plentiful. Would highly recommend. "

"Stayed for 2 nights as a solo female traveller. Service overall was impeccable. My room was spacious with a giant bed. I'm sensitive to noise and it was very quiet in my room. Food options are very tasty with lots of nutritious options. The breakfast was one of the best I've come across. The hotel gym was well equipped for a hotel gym. The outdoor pool at the spa is adult only for most of the day so that was very welcome as there are quite a few families and young children at the main pool during early June."

"This luxurious resort has spectacular pools and easy beach access. The food at all venues is excellent. Our family group of nine had a delightful time—wished we’d planned to stay longer!"

"There is everything you need here. The accommodation has enough space to move around. The beach is right on your doorstep and the boardwalk within a few metres means you cann walk into the town in 20 minutes. Staff are very Good with any query or help needed. Our stay in May/June meant the traffic outside was very light and restaurant reservations were easy. Locals tell me this is very different in August, which is what you would expect for this location. We had a fantastic time and will return"

"Lovely spot! Was perfect as the final destination on our trip through Portugal to get to relax by the beach and the resort is also very close to the town with wonderful restaurants and shopping and additional beaches! Even managed to squeeze in a round of golf which was wonderful too! Staff super friendly, definitely a lovely stay! Only thing I would point out is that it is a bit of a trip to get into the town. So if you want the peace and quiet it's the best, just be advised you may need to take an uber!"

"This is our 8th stay at Aqualuz since 2009 and we obviously love coming back as it ticks all the boxes for us. We started coming as a couple and now as a family of 4. For the second year running we were greeted by Emmanuel at reception who is extremely friendly and helpful along with others within the team who are all accommodating. The location is great along with the food at the hotel. See you next year! "
