"The location is excellent, across the street from the ocean, ferry and restaurants. The staff was super helpful with printed material about hiking trails and places to eat. The rooms were freshly painted and very clean. Be aware, though, that this is an older establishment and the rooms and bathrooms are small, definitely not a luxury accommodation."

"From appearances, this appears to be another basic chain hotel. However, after staying here we can safely say it is so much more than that! This hotel had beautifully spacious and clean rooms - perfect for spreading out and getting cozy after a long day of travel. What really makes this hotel stand out is the exceptional staff and amenities. Mainly, the amazing breakfast! Breakfast included your standard continental flavors in addition to their created egg dishes (egg sandwiches on croissants one day!) that rotate each day and the real Maine maple syrup to go with their waffle station. So while it looks like any other hotel - this one definitely stands out as the best place we stayed on our Maine road trip."
