Very friendly and helpful staff that were very accommodating to a non Spanish speaking guest. Hotel was still undergoing some construction but the guest area was very nice and clean. Breakfast at the cafe was 10/10

They charged me $72 in IVA, even though I don’t live there and showed them proof of that. They said the only valid proof was a stamp you obtain at the airport confirming that you won’t be staying for more than 90 days. I think they should disclose this requirement beforehand so guests can take care of it before arriving at the hotel, rather than being told about it at check-in and then being charged. The construction was loud at times, and the water was either too cold or too hot. The staff were nice, and the rooms were clean. I do wish they had a better full-length mirror, as it was difficult to see everything clearly with the mirror on the closet. Overall, I wouldn’t choose this hotel for a future stay. It wasn’t bad, but there are better options.

Property location was great. Close to everything. Easy Uber to places. The lobby area with the restaurant and bar gets bumpin for sure. It's nice. Saw a live DJ down there the environment was solid. There's a dope coffee shop in the lobby too and plenty of space to do work or setup shop and chill. Didn't see a lot of plugin outlets, so that was a bit of my big issue since I like to do coworking spaces and work remote. My room was the suite or whatever the largest one was. It was great. Bathtub was excellent, super clean, desk area could have been bigger, but otherwise, all was great. Staff was immensely helpful. The gym sucked. It was super small and a bit of a distance to travel - it's in the parkade level (1 and 2 floors below the lobby area). The equipment was nice for sure, but the space is small and probably ideal for maybe 2, 3 people max to really enjoy it. Otherwise, ya, everything was dope.

This hotel is a freshly built hotel. Pros: - super great location - secure - the security team are one of the best, no one leaves or comes in without them knowing - And how can I forget ladies at the front-desk very helpful, they helped us book our tours, resolved every issues. Gave us advice on how to enjoy Medellín and where to go, and how to be safe, there smiling faces makes you feel home and warm. - Hungry? Or up for a fresh made juice or drink? On the first floor you have one of the best restaurants and I mean it one of the best in the city. - for the price it’s a steal. Few suggestions: There isn’t a microwave in the rooms which is really needed if I want to heat up food quickly or a public kitchen would be nice. I know the swimming pool is under construction but will be good to have this amenity ready. Thank you GG group.

The rooms were always cleaned and we were always given clean towels which I highly appreciate. The location is PRIME with multiple restaurants and cafes in the area. The staff was very helpful with requests and even tours. The Pergamino located in the lobby is an amazing add on!!!

So the hotel is brand new with no amenities. However I still give it 5 out of 5. Its beautiful and I cant wait to stay there when all of its amenities are up and running. And it was very reasonable price wise.

I do not normally write reviews but I am now seeing the value it offers to other Travellers. Positives: Staff are all stellar and all speak very good English if your Spanish is not up to speed. The price for what you get in my opinion is fantastic value. The lobby of the hotel has a beautiful open air restaurant/bar attached to it and the bartenders here in particular are exceptional (coming from a guy who has worked in hospitality his whole life). There is also a small Cafe that is equally worth the visit. Surrounding streets are packed with bars and restaurants and has two options for Uber pick ups (highly recommend using Uber and not cabs, significant price difference) Negatives: Some of the rooms only look on to one another in a sort of central courtyard. I don't spend my time looking out the window so this is not an issue for me but if you are wanting a street view, you may want to specify when booking. There are two very small gyms, nothing crazy but also not unexpected from a boutique hotel. It will definitely do the trick as long as it is not too busy (more than 3 people feels a bit full) Shower Temperature control. Maybe it was just my unit, but I could only ever have an ice cold shower, or a skin melting one. If you toggle back and forth you can make it work but I would say this was this only truly noteworthy downside (also for the ladies, it is a rain shower head only so getting your hair wet may be unavoidable) Hope this helps!

This is a difficult review because the property has so many things going for it, but some issues that are hard to overlook. I'll give you facts and hope that helps inform your decision. First, across their street from the main entrance there is an old, dilapidated property that shows up in most of the pictures online. Do not pay attention to that. The back entrance of the hotel leads directly onto a beautiful, amazing neighborhood that's vibrant, lined with trees and filled with small restaurants, cafes and stores. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. I recommend going to those instead of the ones on the first level of the property, whose food isn't that great. Second, the water pressure in the faucets and shower was unstable, particularly the hot water. It got to the point that almost no hot water came out of the shower at one point. I notified this to the staff and they did send someone from the maintenance team very quickly, but the problem wasn't solved. Being an engineer, I knew it was improbable that it was localized to the room but I was offered an upgrade to another room on a different floor and the problem was less severe in that second room. Still, water pressure wasn't enough to shower comfortably. Third, the staff's customer service is not good overall. I interacted with a total of 5 staff members including the maintenance person who came to check the water issue and only 2 out of those 5 were welcoming, kind and diligent.

The property is brand new, beautiful, modern, extremely clean, and in an excellent location with restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and other conveniences nearby as well as 3 in the hotel. Diome at front desk was exceptional. She was kind, professional attentive and went above and beyond to help us. Her dedication to resolving our concerns made a significant difference and is a major reason I am giving this hotel a higher rating. Unfortunately we experienced two serious housekeeping related incidents. First $200 USD disappeared from our room while we were downstairs for a quick bite and housekeeping was cleaning. The money was inside a personal bag not the safe. We immediately reported it and while the hotel could not take definitive action without proof, they upgraded us to a larger suite, which we appreciated. Then, during checkout around 6 AM, we realized we had accidentally left an expensive bottle in the refrigerator. Housekeeping checks the room quickly during check out to ensure no extra charges are needed. My boyfriend returned approximately five minutes later, but the bottle was already gone. Housekeeping had not reported it as a lost item. She indicated that they are required by policy to make note of things left behind - which wasn’t done. Thankfully, Diome immediately followed up and managed to have it returned. These incidents seriously affected our sense of security and trust. I strongly recommend keeping all valuables locked in the safe and securing luggage.

PROS: the great things ! Firstly i want to thank the kitchen staff @ Pepe’s for the delicious breakfasts i throughly enjoyed these morsels of authentically prepared mix of italian and colombian as well as “American” type breakfasts! PLUS The kitchen staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable as i was traveling alone in Medellin. They deserve a raise !! & they were outstanding, them & the staff behind the bar in particular!! my room was clean when i entered & it was maintained clean during my 7 day stay. the hotel is fantastic, i also appreciated the tech savvy room card where i would need the card to turn on all electrical appliances including the AC which was welcome during some of those JULY summer nights. that i would take my room card out of the slot to close all electric functions in the room helped me because i knew where my room card was at all times! the bed was comfy -room service people did a THOROUGH job of cleaning and changing the linens on the bed. Very comfy room with a fantastic shower head that felt great during steamy showers. CONS: the things that could be improved i want to add that i think there should be a larger garbage can in the room. while the trash can in the bathroom LOOKED NICE it was completely IMPRACTICAL - small and i had some garbage and it all wouldn’t fit inside this small container. you should have a main garbage can outside the rooms for necessity. ALSO there was noisy construction going on above my room.

Perfect 5 stars, I fully recommend it! We had an extremely comfortable stay here. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to plenty of bustling shops, restaurants and commercial districts. The hotel is brand new, with large rooms and very soft, comfortable beds. All the staff at the front desk offered warm, thoughtful service and were very helpful. We are totally satisfied with everything and will choose this place again next time.

Property is still under construction. The air filters should be better maintained, dust would get into the air vents and room easily. Overall a good stay as the area is very walkable, and easy access to El Poblado metro station.

The Cut offers good value for money right now, but guests should be aware that it operates like a 2- or 3-star property if you’re used to US/EU while still finishing its buildout. Do not book expecting a polished 4-star experience just yet. Neither the rooftop nor the pool were open during my stay. Housekeeping Issues: I found hair from previous guests scattered across the bedroom and bathroom, and there was no toilet paper upon check-in. I also had to request a room change multiple times simply to get ironed pillowcases. While my current stay was disappointing due to cleanlines and severe staffing bottlenecks, the property has solid potential once fully operational. I would consider giving it a second try down the road once all facilities are open and service issues are ironed out.
