The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great every morning, we stayed for a week. The room was spacious and well maintained. Having a great AC in the room goes a long way for someone like me who doesn’t enjoy the heat as much. I will highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a budget place that offers great service and is convenient, the metro is at walking distance about 10 minutes walk, close to el pueblito paisa too

Staff were great and even gave us a free upgrade when we arrived early for check-in. Any questions or requests we had were handled very well and also the breakfast comes included. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend!

In all fairness you get what you pay for , if you’re in a budget and on the move it’s perfect , but the equivalent in the USA would be like a motel. It is Conveniently located in the laurels neighborhood and city centre . The noise from construction was also terrible. The price justifies all of this , so I’m not madIt’s just better to pay more if you can afford to do so. Also Room service never came by I ended getting another hotel .

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hotel Gran Conquistador 33 – Medellín My experience at Hotel Gran Conquistador 33 was somewhat disappointing. The hotel has a great location and a lot of potential, but unfortunately, it is clear that it needs more maintenance, care, and investment. The rooms feel neglected and do not create an environment where you want to relax or stay comfortably. The bed linens were stained, and the towels were very old, with some of them even torn. The walls also need to be repainted, and there were water leaks in some of the bathrooms. Another major issue is the noise. Street noise can be heard throughout the night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was also disappointing and did not meet my expectations. Regarding the air conditioning, some units work well and cool the rooms properly, while others do not. Also, the rooftop and swimming pool are currently not operating, which is important for potential guests to know before booking. The positive side is that the hotel has a very good location and tremendous potential. That is precisely why it is disappointing to see the property in its current condition. I believe Hotel Gran Conquistador 33 needs some serious care, maintenance, and investment, particularly in the rooms, bathrooms, bedding, towels, paint, and common areas. With the right improvements, this could become a much better hotel. Overall: great location and plenty of potential, but the property currently needs significant maintenance

Location of the hotel is good. just 5 minutes from shopping Unicentro. basic problem with the hotel is that the owner is not taking further interest in this property. They made it once in good shape and after that continuously it is deteriorating. breakfast is okay, rooms are spacious, internet speed is slow, staff at the reception is amateur and need lot of experience to handle clients. maybe staff should be paid more to get experience staff at the reception.

I stayed at this hotel for five days, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. My stay was fully paid for by expedía. I was treated in a way that made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. First, I requested a room change, but the staff refused even though other rooms were available. My room was never cleaned during my entire five-day stay, and nobody explained how to request housekeeping. The situation became even worse when I invited a guest to have breakfast with me. This person was not staying overnight at the hotel, but the staff refused to allow my guest to have breakfast with me. Afterward, I was told to go to reception, where I was informed that I had to pay 240,000 Colombian pesos for a guest who had never stayed overnight. On my final day, a family member came to visit me, and the reception staff stopped them from entering unless I paid an additional 50,000 Colombian pesos. As a result, I ended up paying a total of 290,000 Colombian pesos in extra charges just to have my visitors. What upset me the most was the attitude of the daytime reception staff. The way these two employees treated me was extremely unpleasant, and I felt that they showed very little respect toward foreign guests. The entire situation left me frustrated and deeply disappointed. I am a member of the United States military, and it saddens me to leave such a beautiful country as Colombia with such a negative impression because of my experience at this hotel.
