"Lovely warm welcome,having arrived on foot as we were walking around the island. Room newly and nicely decorated and very clean. Biscuits in room and coffee machine were nice extra touches. "We had an excellent stay at St Maur. The rooms are large spotlessly clean with fantastic ensuite facilties and a balcony with outstanding views. Parking is avaliable and hotel ideally situated for walking to the Botanic Gardens and Steephill Cove. The Owner and staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Such a friendly homely atmosphere."

"Amazing stay at Enchanted manor, from the moment we walked in the vibes were warm and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and the red squirrels and badger feeding in the evenings was an amazing experience. Could not recommend this place more. "

"We stayed in Lisle Combe for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We sat outside in the evenings relaxing, watching and listening to the birds. The only slightly negative comment is that the TV in the bedroom could be a little bigger."

"The cottage is in a great location to access all parts of the island. Decor and furnishing are on the basic side, but this is more than reflected in the price. The garden has lovely views - a picnic table is provided but I suggest taking your own camping chairs for more comfy, longer term seating. The cottage is on a B road with some traffic at times but the noise was not intrusive, and was non-existent overnight. The pub, just 200 steps down the road, is a gem and serves excellent food - I recommend booking as it is very popular. Shorwell is picturesque and away from crowded holiday spots which is a bonus. Eating in garden at The George Hotel in Yarmouth was a high spot - great food and great views of departing ferries and across to Lymington. I would stay in Ladylands again and I am very picky."
