"The Hotel Villa Traiano in Benevento was a gem. It is located very close to the Arch of Trajan, which unfortunately was underneath scaffolding when we visited, and the central shopping area in Benevento. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our (brief) stay, arranging for a taxi for us several times. Also, the lobby is particularly attractive, with a bar area and extremely comfortable seats and sofas, while the breakfast was excellent. Our room was small but clean and adequate, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. We would definitely stay here again."

"The room was spotless. Staff was fantastic. The parking on site was a luxury we later discovered during our 4 weeks in Italy. This was our first night after our flight from New York. The goal was to dine at Pepe in Grani. The hotel an easy 20 minute drive to Caiazzo. Hotel Plana did a great job and lived up to its past reviews."

"This hotel from the nothing of our trip has been unbelievable. The staff is attentive extremely helpful and answered any questions we had, Our room was cleaned everyday the always water in the mini fridge. The bathrooms were spotless. The is a breakfast included in the price and there was plenty to choose. Their restaurant Vic 51 food was amazing and do reasonably priced. Serves were available in both restaurants. Would stay here again for sure,"
