When we checked in we noticed there was a small water leak in the bathroom sink. We contacted the staff via email and had a reply within minutes! They offered to change rooms for us but since we were leaving in the morning to continue our road trip we did not find it necessary. We we really impressed with how promptly we were replied to

Property was well priced and not far out of town by car. Only negative was low shower pressure and one of the shower soap dispensers was broken, otherwise no complaints.

Cramp parking. Even though you could parrell park right outside your unit, if you were end unit,hard to get out. Window latches looked pretty flimsy in kitchen and bathroom, making the property not feel very secure.

We enjoyed our brief stay at U Studios, having arrived at1:30am and gone by 10am. It was convenient to have the key in the lock box by the door, having received the code earlier in the day. We appreciated the quiet location (and quiet other guests!) and enjoyed the comfortable bed.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed at. Terrible service and grumpy staff. Noisy rooms and the pool was pretty dirty too.

Sorry for the inconvenience and sorry you did not like our accommodation facility.It would be great if you could elaborate service and staff issue, so that we can understand and let our staff know regarding the same, as we take pride in customer service and all staff members are really sophisticated and helpful. Terms of noisy rooms, if we would have been made aware of next door guests were noisy we could have look into the situation. Our pool is in open air and leaf or trees stems might have been fallen into it. But if you had found something other than that, staff would have been able to help you out.Thank you.

We arrived late and I didn’t realise I needed to contact them 24 hrs earlier. When we got to our room there was no key in the box. The after hrs phone help was very helpful and they found us another room to stay in. All in all very happy with the outcome.

U studios was in a quiet part of town but the service was poor and the facility very dated.

Unfortunately the two bedroom unit we were assigned was nothing like the photo (way smaller) and there was no hot water in the unit. The second bedroom of the unit didn't look like it had been cleaned

Hello Owen , Thank you for your feedback. May be due to privacy settings on your phone, Wi-Fi was not able to be connected. We did not receive any comments about Wi-Fi from other guests who were staying on the same night with you. As well we have check with our internet provider and there is no issue through them. Our standard rate for a Queen Studio on a Saturday night is $150 but you have received the rate for cheaper than usual and the room you booked in was sold at what was advertised on Expedia. We appreciate your feedback. Thank You.

~2 weeks prior to booking, I asked to cancel booking but Expedia could not obtain any sort of refund. Motel said that I should have booked a different rate. However, I saw no obvious option for this on Expedia. So I did not use the booking. I decided not to cancel because then the motel could have let the room again an profited further. I also heard, so cannot verify, that motels are also used for emergency accommodation. This is not advertised. that means you could be in the same place as people not interested in having a quite time to rest/sleep. I can say that I will not book this motel in future, and that I will be wary of Expedia... I should have got a refund, or at least a partial refund.

Hello Bruce, Thank you for your comment. As you booked in for Non Refundable rate through Expedia, we are not able to refund back any amount. All of our listings on Expedia have 2 different rates on them. Refundable rate will give you the flexibility to cancel up tp 6pm on arrival day and Non Refundable one is non-refundable or non-amendable and it is always 10% cheaper. Those options are always visible when you upon booking. We are not doing any Emergency Housing at the motel. Since you did not cancel the booking, the accommodation was not re-sold for any other purposes. Thank you.

We stayed in Unit 10 with our wee dog and it was perfect--very clean, spacious, well-stocked, and private. Highly recommend--especially if you're traveling with a pet!
