"Excellent boutique hotel every room has ocean view. Low key location and area. Nice restaurant and bar and pool all overlooking the ocean. Truly amazing facility! Small hotel left my valuables in my room never locked the door. Snorkeling in front of hotel at reef, has dive shop with dive sites 5-10 minute boat ride. I travel the world extensively this location is special as is the service and attention! You will not be disappointed. "

"This was my third visit 3 years running staying and diving at Blue Ribbon. They have everything right for a relaxed, but safe, diving vacation. The rooms are fine and everything is convenient. You walk a few meters from your room to eat and not many more to dive. The resort has a friendly family feel to it and the staff were all fabulous. "Very upmarket place for the area. Food was fabulous and available to be cooked any hour of the day. Nice wine selection! Clearly a European touch of quality here. "Room was clean but very basic, no fridge, no kettle….. these 2 items are very essential for people who loves cold or hot drink without the need of getting out of the room. No hot water twice…. First episode was reported and fixed but did not last longer and no hot water again!!! The bed is very comfortable, but the top sheet or kumot is so thin, not a good one for someone who love to sleep in a cold room. 5 star for the hotel staffs"

"Friendly lobby staff. The dive center was helpful. Tried to eat at restaurant, ended up going to nearby places as didn’t like the restaurant service. The lace was busy. One server told us we can use one of the tables once the cleaned it as prior diners just left. But then another server came in and put a reserved sign on the table. There was no coordination among servers and I hear some other people comping on the wait to get food so we didn’t want to wait for a table and went somewhere else....

"Had a fantastic stay here at this property, The location with the fantastic view is ofcourse the highlight going down to the beach is only 5mins , coming back with motorbike (habal-habal) took 2mins with 25peso. Very Responsive in terms of communication.The family really took care of us also offered us a free pick up in sabang market at arrival. My room was beautiful and quiet room indeed."

"If you don't enjoy city life and want to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, this place is perfect. Although it's a bit far from the beach, they do provide transportation. The ambiance is soul-soothing, with a pleasant morning breeze, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere. You'll enjoy the perfect sight of mountain hills on one side and the sea on the other. "There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort. First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing. We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained. There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. "Glad I booked here -- it's definitely one of the better hotels in White Beach. Friendly service, good A/C, warm showers, security, location. Brought my own pocket wifi. Wish I had booked dive in advance - they didn't have availability for beginner by the time I showed up. Notes on White Beach area: - good LTE service - known for night life, water activities, etc. If you want more quiet, western resort style, sabang is better area. - 20 minute ride to town, i.e. the closest ATM."
