"We checked in at the hotel, which is located in Billstedt – just about a 3-minute walk from Billstedt Center, where you’ll find shops like Primark. The area has good public transport and nice dining options nearby, but it felt a bit unsafe in the evening.
The hotel interior is very outdated. That wouldn’t normally be an issue, but unfortunately, within minutes of arriving in our room, we discovered two different insects – a centipede and a weevil. As I have a strong phobia of insects, we...

"Hotel was stunning. Staff super helpful. Beds were excellent and so comfortable. Great breakfast and location perfect.
All around couldn’t recommend highly enough
Thank you"
"I had a wonderful experience staying at The Moxy. From start to finish, the customer service was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and always ready to help with any questions I had. The hotel itself was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant, offering genuine hospitality that made me feel truly welcome."
"The hotel is awesome.Yes, the rooms are basically closets with a mattress and two feet of ground to stand on. I splurged and got the double bed room and do that, I can't imagine squeezing into the single. But the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, there was ZERO light in the room with the lights off, so if you like dark rooms, you'll love this. It's a deep cave. But there was a light switch on the wall right next to your pillow so easy to light things up. Built in speakers for bluetooth. The people who work there keep the place perfect. It's all rather new and everything is clean and well designed. There is a cafe and bar downstairs which is decent and a rooftop lounge area where you can smoke, drink or just hang out with plenty of good furniture. I spent two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The neighborhood is kinda cruddy, with people sleeping on the sidewalk, but it didn't feel dangerous and a short walk to a great, lively street and plenty of sidewalk cafes. it's just a few blocks to the train station. If I'm travelling alone, I'd certainly stay there again. It had a good energy and was very clean. Two people in the tiny pod would get tough, but for solo travel, do it.

"Very easy check in/out Good rooms, very good Continental breakfast with great breakfast times (start 0530).
Within easy level walk of local station.
only thing missing was no tea/coffee facilities in room. "
"Have stayed here before as convenient for business office I am visiting, otherwise outside central city area. Had a quiet room at the back overlooking the race course which otherwise is only reason to stay here. Modern business hotel with efficient polite desk staff - pretty much as you would expect in Germany. Clean and comfortable, reasonable breakfast."
