"Overall a nice hotel highlighted by Bri on reception and many other helpful and friendly staff. Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem. Our family room had lots of space and everything was clean. Breakfaat was good as were the facilities of pool, sauna, jacuzzi. My sister arrived before me checked in wasn't told what floor room etc & was basically bullied into booking breakfast at a cheaper rate but had to book it there & then. "Pretty much has everything you need for a short stay. Clean, neat and tidy plus the staff are super nice and helpful also in a great location at a great price."

It was adequate but, no doubt to keep in style with being the oldest hotel in Great Britain, it wishes to retain an oldie worldie charm so the decor may appear outdated.
