Hotels near Marlette Regional Hospital

"Pool was to cold and the hot tub was apparently out of commission for quite some time. I chose best western because of their long standing as a quality place to stay. Was disappointed finding out the amenity had been down for some time. "

"Everything was fine. It was a bit noisy around 12:15am and breakfast was nothing to brag about. "

" Website stated new remodel but the tub shower walls were cracked, tge faucet is very loose and there were other minor issues. It does not warrant the current high prices. There are nicer places to stay for less money. "

"My biggest complaint was the noise. I requested a cabin that would be secluded so we could have some peace and quiet. Management placed me near the back, which was nice. However, the complex was fairly empty so anyplace probably would have been "secluded". That being said, we weren't there for more than a couple of hours when I noticed that there was a generator running nearby. I messaged Management to see why it was running and why I couldn't have been placed far, far away from it. No response!! That night was quite noisy and VERY difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, the construction crew showed up at 8 am and started running another machine that sounded like a pump or something. This, along with the VERY LOUD beeping of a truck backing up was extremely disturbing!!! I emailed Management and sent a message trying to find out why I couldn't be moved to a quieter cabin since I paid for 2 nights. Again, no response! I chalked it up to experience and toughed it out one more night. But I decided to never return. Which is sad, because this has been our "weekend" getaway for quite sometime. I tried to get a partial refund before checkout on the 2nd day so I could move to a Hotel that would be quieter. Again, no response. The other problem I had was with getting fresh towels. It took 2 messages and a phone call just to get some fresh towels. "

"My husband booked this motel for us for Valentine's Day. It was $180 for one night for the room with the jetted tub. When we pulled up, it looked a little rough, but we only care about the inside anyway. It was advertised as a queen bed, and it was a full bed. We were only staying for 1 night so we honestly didn't feel like taking time out of our plans to go to the office and complain about any of this, so I will say we did not give them a chance to fix it. "

"Keep the noise down in the early morning. Staff talking to each other down the length of the hallway at 6:30am in these poorly soundproofed rooms isn’t appreciated. 3 out of 3 days I was awoken between 6 and 6:30 because of noise outside my room (I had even worn ear plugs on the 3rd night). "

"It was a nice place, we did not get our room cleaned. They were extremely apologetic and gave us a gift certificate to come back. Really nice staff."
