"Parking was in the road outsodethe Richmond Guest House. The owner validates your vehicle to park. Check in was a little later than we advised as our ferry crossing dictated our arrival in Wellington. Our host was fine when we ipdatrd our arrival time once the ferry departed South Island. Breakfast was included and was enjoyed by both of us."

"The place was great! Maybe not for everyone but perfect for anyone with kids or just looking for something a little different. We are seniors but have done a lot of camping and this was glamping at its best. We picked the yurt which had an outdoor kitchen and an external bathroom. Everything felt really authentic yet still very modern. It all was just there as one would expect from a nice hotel but presented in a different way. Kind of a cowboy camp or depression era type of a kitchen outside...
