Very friendly staff and a lovely traditional hotel. The only downside was the fact our room (25) was so hot we had to have a fan going all night which kept us awake.

Quaint and traditional

A quaint and quiet traditional hotel. Good private parking and friendly staff. I will definitely visit again for business. It is close to good restaurants and shopping. Market Harborough is well worth a visit. I will definitely return to this lovely hotel The bed was ever so comfortable and the staff are very welcoming.

Well worth the money

Hotel room was good and clean.....the service on arrival was a bit dismissive though but on leaving is was much better. Very good situation in the town

The Angel

Overall stay was very good, staff lovely and friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Hotel excellently positioned for the shops if that is what you want, short walk away. Breakfast was good, plenty of it and good quality.

Restfull week in quaint town

Market harblurough is a beautifull little town in the rolling hills of the west midlands. Its got great places to eat out. We stayed in angle which offered good value for money and eas extreamly comfortable

An old fashioned but comfortable hotel

A very last minute booking but my room, though quite small, was fine for a single night. (The first one I was offered was a little too close to an outside extractor fan for and the helpful friendly staff quickly swapped it for another.) Bar food was good and tasty. Market Harborough is a busy but very pleasant market town.

Hotel is abit tired and doesn’t have all the modern facilities but the staff are friendly and very helpful. Beds are very comfortable. Easy walking to town centre.

Room smelled strongly of damp. Given disabled bathroom, chipped sink and toilet Not particularly clean Asked to be moved and offered stuffy attic room with small skylight window Hotel overall tired and needs some paint! Don’t be fooled by photos on website!

Reasonably priced hotel in nice Market Town

Market Harborough is a nice market town not to far from the Cotswolds & easy drive from London. Nice drives to towns like Cambridge etc.

Mostly i had good experience.One problem, on my last day my bathroom was not cleaned and no toileteries and face cloth was replaced.Did not eat at the hotel so cant coment on the breakfast.It did seem expensive.

Coaching charm.

Really nice coaching inn with lots of charm. We booked 22 rooms for a business trip so had pretty much everything from a small single to the bridal suite. In general the rooms were good, though some were a little bit outdated. We did have one room that had a leak from the ceiling from the room above but this was changed for another room immediately. The bar is nothing special but fine, there's ample parking and the hotel is in a great location and I would say is value for money and I would stay there again.
