Big, elegant room in a big castle with a fancy garden. Dinner is nice, also with a good service. Not so far from Loire river valley. We enjoy our honeymoon here so much!

We love this Chateau! This was our second time staying the Chateau de Marcay and would recommend room 21. The staff is the best! From Claire, Alexander, Samuel, Constantine to the best chef, Romain. I am sure I left out someone but everyone is the best!!! The food is second to none. Chef Romain's creations are a must to try each night. Awesome wine list too!!! This Chateau is located in a small quaint and very quiet town. Great place to have morning runs from too.

Good option for a Castle experience

Small castle in the countryside area of Chinon. I had a room at the west wing and it was fine, but access limited with heavy bags. Food expensive and only normal. Good breakfast.

El Chateau me ha gustado, pero no lo recomendaria. Nos vieron llegar con las maletas y bolsas y ni siquiera la persona de recepción se molesto en abrirnos la puerta. Muy lamentable en un hotel de 4 estrellas.

Un hôtel parfait pour le repos . Les chambres de l’aile ouest Au rez-de-chaussée sont idéales pour les propriétaires de chien. Un bémol: le restaurant est de qualité mais 2 heures 30 a 3 heures pour dîner c’est difficile à supporter !

El hotel es hermoso. Un poco retirado. Mantiene la decoración tipo original en áreas comunes. Nos tocó hospedarnis en un ala que se ve, fue ampliada para ser hotel. Más moderna y desentona un poco con la arquitectura original. El buffet del desayuno muy rico y variado. La cena, deliciosa. El oersonal fue muy atento y amable.

A charmed life.

Great respite from hustle and bustle of Europe's big cities. Location, close to Chinnon is great. Staff was friendly and the chateau is charming. Like most of France, the rooms can get a bit warm during a heat wave and internet was a bit intermittent but my wife and I overall loved our stay.

Umgebung wunderschön, das Hotel ist natürlich etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Leider stimmt aber hier das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Das Restaurant möchte gerne, aber wir haben leider kaltes Essen serviert bekommen. Nach Reklamation war es lauwarm. Schade! Der Sommelier oder Möchte-gerne-Sommelier geht gar nicht.

Wonderful old Chateau in pristine condition with excellent and friendly staff. The dinner service was terribly slow caused by the kitchen not the waiting staff and the food portions were too small.

客室は広く、トイレと洗面室（バスタブ）は同じ場所でしたが、扉があり快適でした。 歴史ある重厚感あふれるホテルですが、中の設備は近代的で清潔なホテルでした。

Hotel Maravilhoso

O Chateau é simplesmente fantástico, estacionamento no local, café maravilhoso, atendentes super simpáticos, . Dormimos em uma das torres do castelo com vista para o jardim e a piscina. O quarto é enorme e muito confortável. Ainda jantamos no restaurante do Hotel, um jantar divino acompanhado do vinho produzido no chateau.
